I was just wondering what exactly is here...I did not know about this place when we went last year and I wish I had as my DD loves Tinkerbell...when we were in DTD she had asked a CM if there was any way to meet Tinkerbell and the CM called the character hotline and was told she was on vacation...so I guess I was wondering as well do you get to meet Tinkerbell here...also that same CM had told us that Disney was building a Tinkertown where everything will be large so anyone that goes to it will feel like a fairy, does anyone know when this will be or if it is actually true...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only place to actually see Tink is in the PPP parade. The store Tink's Treasures is in Fantasy land. I've heard that if you get there in the am they will let you "wake up Tink". When you do this a little light shoots around the room and that is supposed to be Tink.

Light?
Yup.
Tinker Bell's Treasures is located immediately to your left, just as you come thru the castle into Fantasyland.

WAKING UP TINKER BELL
Best short description I've found:

"Visit Tinkerbell's Treasures, a shop behind the castle, as soon as it opens. Inside the shop is a very special treasure box where Tinkerbell sleeps! If you are the first guest of the day to enquire, you might be lucky enough to be asked to wake her up. You’ll be told to wave a wand, say "Wake up, Tinkerbell" three times, and then you’ll hear Tink fly around the room. Of course, you probably won't manage to spot her because she's a fairy and flies pretty fast once she’s woken up, but you will see flashing lights and hear bells so you’ll know when she’s awake. You might also be given a certificate and some stickers."

It's a store..anything and everything TINKERBELL, as well as the other princesses, but LOTS of Tink stuff! No, you can't meet her..you can only see her in the P&PP or during Wishes. The magic of Tink is that she is indeed a tricky pixie! :tinker:
You can however wake her up if you are the one of the first to Tinkerbell's Treasure each morning...not sure of the details, we never did it. But recently she has been "on vacation", so I don't know if she got back or not!

GOOD LUCK! I have a Tink fan on my hands too!

There is an old dresser with a key hole on the top drawer close to one of the entrance doors. When you look inside the hole, every 9 seconds or so ( Yes I counted!) there will be a twinkle sound and then a flash of light which will display Tinkerbell sitting inside. I found it very difficult to see, so on my 3rd trip, I brought a mini flash light attached to my camera. I just lit up the keyhole and I could see clearly. Ahhhh... The Disney magic!

I believe that this is just another fairy story.

Tinkerbell used to fly from the top of the castle to the top of the noodle station in tomorrow land at the beginning of the fireworks.
Does anyone know if she still does that?

Yes.
Not at the beginning anymore, but more of a "featured position" IN the Wishes show, now.

Even though it's most likely not true, a Tinkertown sounds like it would be a lot of fun (and popular with guests!) Like a prettier version of the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground.
