I have a friend on the phone that spoke with someone that just left WDW...

They SAW TINKERBELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know there have been rumors that she may make appearances due to her movie coming out...

My friend said her friend said she was outside Cinderella's Castle and got her autograph.

We leave in 23 hours, I'd love a Dis confirmation on this from someone that just got back!

Could this REALLY be true?????

Is you friend absolutely sure of this, because I just returned on Nov 06 and the only "sighting" I had is when she flew down the castle during Wishes. there was no face character out doing autograph sessions. Maybe you friend confused what she thought was Tink for another character?

I always thought Tink spoke, just in her own langauge that Peter could understand. I guess I thought it was so small a voice we couldn't hear it. I guess that was my interpretation of it.

I know she speaks in such a way that Peter can understand her, I just always assumed the tinkering of bells WAS the language. But there aren't many of us earthly humans who speak "Bell", LOL.

However, the idea that maybe she really DOES speak in a language we can understand, yet it's so small that all our human ears can pick up is a bell noise is an interesting perspective that I have not considered before. If Disney gave us that as the official explanation, I suppose I could go along with it.

In the Peter and the Starcatchers book series (which are from Disney Editions), Tink has her own voice and talks just like anybody else, though only Peter and a few others can understand her. Everyone else just hears bells.

I always thought that the tinkling bell noise Tink made was her voice and Peter was able to understand and talk to her. It would be nice to see Tink as a character in Disneyworld. Even if it isn't for a while since my next disney trip won't be till next November.

They created Ariel's Grotto, and have her sitting in a shell with her tail for signings, so why can't they have Tink sitting on a treasure box or a spool of thread or some other small item for signings. I would buy it!!!

although i've never seen any visual confirmation, i have heard at least one other person report spotting her months ago.

the meet & greet (at least as of the last semi-reliable update) will be taking place inside the toontown hall of fame, but i wouldn't expect that until at least next summer.

Not sure if this is relevant but we were there last week and the middle line at Toontown was not being used each time we went there. Just one line on left for Pluto, Goofy, etc. and the princess line on the right.

Maybe a refurb of the middle room? ANyone confirm?

I was going to mention this too. I don't believe the middle room was open in the end of October either.

Someone somewhere mentioned they were going to try to have a room with giant stuff in it, like the guests shrink to meet her. I thought that was a very cool idea and would work in that tent room.

On another thread someone mentioned a CM said she may be out by May. We go 5/4-5/15 and will be looking!

There was a casting notice recently looking for ladies to play Tinkerbell and the other fairies from the movie. It was in the castmember monthly newsletter, Eyes and Ears.
