JMHO, but I've always thought that she doesn't make appearances because she is a fairy. If people saw her walking around human size, it might take away some of her magic.

I have to agree with you as well. I figured that she didn't walk around because she was a fairy, which also explains why.... she fly's out of the Castle prior to the Fireworks.

i would love to meet tinkerbell. i think that would just make my trip to WDW even more magical if i ever met tinkerbell.

We just took the KTTK tour and I definately asked. (Tink is my absolute favorite!) Our guide said that the main reason is not so much her size but that beacuse tinkerbell is a face character who doesn't speak. In peter pan when she "speaks" it is just the tinkle of a bell. They couldn't have an actual person who didn't speak at all. He also said that tinkerbell has an unofficial autograph that Wendy will sometimes get for you. (but not all of the time) Unfortunately, we took the tour at the end of our trip and we didn't see Wendy after it because I would have asked! Just thought I'd pass along what I heard.

She is my favorite too. I don't think I would want a human sized Tink walking around though...

Where 20k Leagues used to be, they are designing a new area. It'll be a walk through where props get larger, making people feel like they're getting smaller. At the end of the walk through, they'll be greeted by TINKERBELL! Tinkerbell will be in a lantern like she was in the movie, to make sure she doesn't sprinkle pixie dust on people or that she won't try to fly off to hurt the Wendy Bird again.

i am pretty sure that is the area they are making a pooh-themed play area in. however your rumour is a MUCH better idea i wish it were true too!!!

I went to MK in March and we met Peter Pan and Wendy! A treat for myself being such a big Peter Pan fanatic and my Dsis asked if Tinkerbell was around and he said yes she was and on her autograph book she "signed" it. To see the look on my Dsis's face was priceless.

I read on another thread that a DIS'er heard a CM tell a little girl at WDW that Tink will be making appearances next year.
I also heard that where ever they do it when you walk in things will get larger as if you are getting smaller, similar to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. I think this would be very cool for imagineers to design.

We're going on the GG Fireworks Cruise in Aug. We knew Peter Pan would be there but didn't know about Tink. Is she always there ? or did you just get lucky? My daughter loves Tink (me too) but I don't want to tell her of she's not always there .
