My DB and DSIL are leaving for their first trip to Disney this weekend. I guess my two nieces want to meet Tinker Bell really bad. I informed my DSIL that Tinker Bell is no where to be found for a meet and greet. Am I giving the correct information? If not, please let me know where she can be found for an autogragh. Thanks!

I think that it's right to assume that your family will have a hard time finding Tinkerbell to give an autograph. You should let them know about waking Tinkerbell in the gift shop in Cinderella's castle and make sure they watch Wishes of course. That's about all I can think of for Tinkerbell lovers. Perhaps others could add to the list.

You are correct. Tinkerbell does not do meet and greets. But tell them to look for Tinkerbell to fly from the castle during the fireworks. They will be able to see her wire when they look at the castle during the day (but shh! don't tell the girls!). Also, you can tell them to be the first girls in Tinkerbell's Treasure (gift shop to the left immediately after going thru the castle.) and ask to wake up Tinkerbell. The first girl who asks gets to wake her up. And she gets a magical moments certificate. But I would plan to make this my first stop of the morning. Tell them good luck!

Two years ago my DS and I were waiting for E-night to start. We were sitting in an eating area just outside Tomorrowland and across from the castle so we could watch the fireworks. I noticed a cable from high in the castle down towards and over where we were sitting. I had no idea that Tinkerbell was someone who actually came down this cable at the start of the fireworks. It is very impressive to watch as she "flies" over your head.

We like to sit in Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, have a snack and wait for the fireworks. The first time we were pleasantly surprised to actually SEE Tinkerbell as she flew over. She was close enough to actually see her smiling and she waved to my DDs as she went over! This is our secret spot, so please don't tell anyone!;)

HI TinksMom,

Now, I'm so curious about Tinkerbell's flight at Wishes. I always assume that she was a doll or a manican, but reading your post, that she "waved to your DD". Is she a human or a doll?

Please anyone reply. I'm so fascinated right now!!!!!

I can't wait to GO to WDW....I can't stand it!!

She's a real live person...DH kinda liked her, too!;)

NO SHE IS NOT!!! She's a faerie! ;) ;) ;)

And pretty fearless to fly everynight as well.

Definetly real, we have her on zoom on video and you can tell she's real. I'm gonna have to try watching over by Cosmic Rays 1 night--- we almost always watch from Main St., I guess I'm a traditionalist.

Do you think a lot of people make it a point to go to "Tinkerbell's Treasures" first thing in the morning so that THEIR child can wake Tink? I mean, I've seen mention of it a time or two here, and I was just curious if it was a popular thing to do.

I'm not very competitive :) and it intimidates me to think that there are going to be people RUNNING for this store when they burst through the gate (runners in DW tick me OFF) I'll make a beeline for it, but I'm not going to shove anyone else out of the way or RUN to try and be there first :)

How cool  !! I have never seen "her" fly by and only knew about that from these boards but I also never realized that it was a real person. For some reason I invisioned it as just a ball of light. Now I really can't wait to see her!

Anyone have photos of her flight that they care to share with the rest of us? We will definitely be staking out a spot to see her this trip.

Just one small thing to remember. If it's raining during Wishes Tinkerbelle won't always fly, for obvious reasons of course. I was so excited to see her on our last trip, but at our one and only night at MK, it was raining pretty heavily and no Tinkerbelle:(

This is only my 2nd post ever...so I hope I'm doing this right. I'm not sure if this has ever been mentioned before, but if you go to
www.yourfairytale.com/characters.html , scroll down and you can see a close up picture of Tink at someone's wedding! I always thought that was pretty cool! I've never been able to see her flying from the castle...I always seem to miss it! princess:

Thanks, dizchick! Makes me want to do the wedding again...think I can talk DH into it!!:p

Very cute pictures! It's funny seeing the characters all dressed up for a wedding :p

Okay, so IF you are the first child to ask to wake up Tinkerbell.. what exactly does your child do, and what happens? My youngest daughter simply ADORES Tinkerbell (she has a Tinkerbell bedroom!), so this is a must do on our things to do!

Somebody mentioned to me that they always eat dinner at a counter service place, take their food *upstairs* and sit by a window and Tink comes down right over the restaurant. I thought this person said the place was on Main Street???, but I can't figure out where they are talking about. Does anyone know of any counter service food places that have tables upstairs and you would be able to get a really good view of Tinkerbell coming on the wire? I've never seen it, so I don't know her path exactly.
Thanks
Jill
