Hi everyone!

Work is going good. Last Saturday I worked at POFQ in Jackson's for the first time and I really liked it there! Tomorrow I have a meeting showing all the new merchandise I think, so it should be interesting. On Sunday I might go see the Astros at Wide World of Sports, I am so excited about that! Nothing much is going on besides that. My roommate is so upset though. She works at World of Disney and yesterday her umbrella broke on her way into work and she ended up getting wet. They took her to costuming and got her a new pair of pants. She didn't notice until she was back at WoD but they were torn in the crotch part. Her manager gave her a reprimand and she was sent home!!! She came home crying and ready to go home. She has been asking to leave WoD for 3 weeks, she is miserable there. We convinced her to stay though. I hope things get better for her. I would hate for her to leave.

Nicole, I am enjoying your updates so much, keep up the good work!

While I had a blast on my CP, I had several not so pleasant experiences similar to what you and your roomate have experienced. Here is my advice to both of you: no matter what, stick it out. You will be so glad you did, because now when I look back on my CP experience, I only remember the positive things, not the negative.

I had 8 roomates and only 4 of us made it to CP graduation. And all of the ones that left regret it. I know it's tough leaving your family and DBF, I remember getting terribly homesick at times. Still, it is worth it.

Anyway, that is my 2 cents even though you didn't ask for it.....

I am enjoying reading your report. Are you an Astros fan, I love them!! You are so lucky to get to see them for Spring traning...I have season tickets, can't wait for opening day!!

They do, but rarely (most of them are health related).

I don't think so. I know that at Fulton's they don't. They just have merchandise that says "Port Orleans" on it. Have fun on your vacation! Stop by and say hi!

I'm loving the report! I did the CP in Spring '07 (Emporium merchandise), so it's really great to be reading about someone else's experience. I'm hoping to come back on the Alumni program this summer, if I'm ever accepted! (I forgot to sign my application , so I have to wait another 2-3 weeks. Boo!)

I hope your roommate's experience gets better. One of my roommates worked WOD and has some issues as well.

I checked both QSFB and Custodial. I think I'd rather have custodial, though I'm not sure about this cleaning after people thing. It'll be fine, though; I'd rather do that than work at Cosmic Ray's or something (I didn't check the MK QSFB option; I overheard to many horror stories on the A bus for that. )

I did custdial last summer. I only selected QSFB, and I got that. Now I hope to get either one of the water parks or MK (hopefully Casey's or the Ice Cream Parlor).
