Anyone else do "Tinkerbell Gifts"?

My Tink Gift plan:

1. Each morning my children will wake up to a Tink gift personalized for them
2. The items will be packed in a gallon sized ziplock (which will make it easy to pack and easy to take with us to the parks
3. The items include things such as gum, fruit snacks, disposible cameras, lanyards, disney dining punch cards, activity books, personalized t-shirts, glow sticks, autograph books, and a bit of pixie dust (glitter, confetti or sparkly easter grass)

I am planning on doing this for my kids during our trip for a few reasons...

1. Because I am nutty like that.
2. Because I have been feeling "crafty" thanks to the DISign board
3. Because I will have to buy many of the items (or similar items) in the parks for more money if I do not do this.

I know lots of other DISers do this kind of thing and I'd love to hear what you all are doing. What do you give them? And when do you give it to them?

Tinkerbell is a regular visitor during our vacation. She comes once a day and not at a designated time. It is usually when my youngest DS is either in the bathroom or I manage to make my way back to the room before the rest of the clan.

I have already purchased my Tink gifts for our February trip. I managed to get some really good deals on things when disneystore.com was having a clearance. I usually pick up little things but this time I got some deals for bigger things that only cost me $4.99 or less. I have Ratatouille in a car, Ratatouille in a bottle, some coloring packages, etc. Besides the magic of Tink visiting, the main reason I do this is that it cuts down on the gimmes throughout the day. The kids get Disney related souvenirs and are totally in love with the idea of Tink visiting.

okay this is a great idea? do you add things they can play with in the park? or is this more for the down time and to counteract the gimmies?

Our last trip, Tink left our DS3 and DS4 binoculars for AK, stuffed Disney characters, Disney Pez, etc. Now that they are 5 and 6, Tink will be leaving them each a new diecast PIXAR car under their pillows every day at "break time" and also new pins on their lanyards every morning. (Our first time pin trading!)

We did this on our trip last year. Tink came every night while they were sleeping. It helped cut down on them asking for anything at the parks. I got all the stuff cheap last year at the Disney Store sale. I stocked up for this years trip too! I got both girls a swim bag, a t-shirt, a Mulan straw cup and a plush cinderella. I'll also get some glow sticks and some kind of light up toy (I found a princess one last year during the sale and I'm hoping to find one for cheap this year).

We are doing this for the first time,

I got for DS and DD:

Bathing suits
lip gloss
chapstick
journals
Adorable homemade autograph books and bags from a lady on ebay. She makes a little bag for the book to go in and the book has coordinating Disney fabric. (this is my favorite that i am so exicted about giving them!!)
Pens
aqua doodle
tshirts
glitter tatoos
fake fingernails
playdough
sunglasses
PJ's

We are doing a gift a night, but from all the characters, mickey, each of the princesses, etc.

We did a new princess gown the first night - to wear to CRT. then we did tee-shirts, disney sunglasses, disney cups, light spinners, etc. It is sooo much fun to watch their faces!!!
We also bought a snowglobe at the park and wrote a note to the girls from Tinkerbell and had it shipped home to them w/ her saying THANKS for visiting me at Disneyworld. They were so excited when they got that box at home! it kept the magic going a little bit.
