Timing of ME in February to POR

Our flight arrives on a February 2014 Monday at MCO at 2:40pm. We are booked for ME to get us to POR Riverside. I am tossing around the idea of Pirates & Pals that evening to kick off our trip. There will be 9 of us (which makes us slightly slower than just my family of 4).

It looks like in January (feb schedule still not up) the P&P trip begins at 6:45. Do we stand a chance of making it on time? Would you do it?

There is no way I would book something prepaid for arrival day - there are just too many things that can go wrong.

You should probably be at your resort about 90 minutes after you step off the plane. That would put you at your resort around 4:15ish, which would give you enough time. But if you encounter an unexpected delay (delayed flight, major traffic issues, major problems with checking in, etc.) you might not make it and you'll be out all of that money.

In my opinion it just isn't worth the risk.
