Times way off when Modifying Lightling Lane??

Booking trip for next week for Hollywood Studios.

My initial Multipass time bookings are not desirable so I'm trying to modify to get earlier times. The problem is the initial screen has 1 time. but when I attempt to select, on next screen it says "please note your arrival window has changed". and it's usually an hour or so later than I initially selected.

I will go back to the prior page, refresh and it still advertises that ealeir time, I attempt to use and again pushes me an hour or so later. What gives? I never seen this issue on past trips.

Is the initial advertised time not up-to-date or something known with this Multipass system? Last time we were in WDW was Genie+. Even thrill data is showing that earlier time.

That first time it returns is the 1st available return window but you can't have it due to something in your schedule. Are you trying to overlap return times with other LLMP selections or do you have other items on your "My Day" like dining or other park things that are added to your day or Dinning reservations?

So no dining reserved, just 3 LLs and one Single Pass for ROTR


10.55am - Tower of terrer
12.20pm - RoTR
1.10pm - Toy Story Mania
2.30pm - Slinky Dog

So i am trying to modify the RoTR, it constantly shows 11.30am slot open but when I edit it moves to 1.50PM as earliest. (which overlaps with Toy Story Mania anyways). It's like some odd bug in the system? constantly advertising 11.30am but forces me into 1.50 on the next screen.

11:30 is too much overlap with ToT. It'll allow a 20 minute overlap on either side of the one hour window, so 1:50 is okay with both TSM and Slinky.

I've been trying to move my 10.55am ToT up earlier - boy is that being stubborn. I was initially booked for Slinky at 3.30 and was able to move it up 3 times to 2.30pm. i thought. Why is ToT so hard to move? do they just not release when slots change like Slinky?

You probably wont be able to move that one any earlier. People grab, and hold onto, the earliest morning slots right away in the hopes of being able to maximize use of the LLMP.

Yes they get released back in the pool, but your issue is the music is stopping. LL is like a mad rush to grab stuff. It's chaos at the beginning as everyone grabs what they can and then drops it when they see better-to-them stuff show up. As the day goes on, people settle in with what they have. So, the dust dies down and the LLs are less plentiful. Early times at popular rides like ToT are going to go quick as everyone who knows how the system works knows you want early LLs.

Day of you'll be able to overlap LLs, ADRs so maybe you'll see some movement then that will help out.

As @snacks and @gottalovepluto indicated times may open up on your "Day of" visit as others start changing plans as of 7 AM.
