I would. but it would be hard for me not to try to change things.

I wouldn't. I would not want to live my life knowing when something is going to go wrong and I like to be surprised by the great things in life.

I would, but only BACKWARDS so I could change a few things. Problem is, that might change where I am today. Maybe I would just change certain things--like people whose feelings I've hurt or something. Maybe I should just let sleeping dogs lie!!! Ok, I voted yes but now I'm not so sure . . .

I would do it, but I wouldn't do it to change things. I'd use it to see those who have passed on that I love and to experience some past events (ie: the Pan-Am Exhibition that we had in here in Buffalo). However, I'd like to be able to pick the place, time, event, etc. I think they'd kick me out of a time travel machine b/c I would want things so specific!!! I'd love to know what it was like growing up in my Grandmother's family ... so I'd have to somehow get hooked up w/them. Of course, in time travel, you can't reveal you're from the future, so I don't know how I'd hook up w/them. I'd also love to go back in time and meet certain famous people. Again, the time travel machine would have to have a special device to "hook me up"!

ETA -- I would not want to go forward in time .. only backwards!

Just back far enough to buy a LOT of Microsoft....when it was trading in the single digits.

Oh yes! DH and I have watched a number of shows on television that explore Einstein's theories on this and find it utterly fascinating! DH goes much further in reading everything he can find on the subject. Again, a great big yes! ::yes::

Sure! I'd go back and ride the Skyway, see the Tiki Room before it was Under New Management, all that stuff...

I've always wanted to be there when Doc was inventing the Flux Capacitor.... :lmao:

Yes I would. I wouldn't want to talk to anyone, change anything, but would want to see what my dad 'really' looked like. You can see pictures of people and stuff, but it isn't the same. I don't remember him, so I'd like to just bump into him on the street and get a good hard look at him.

When I was younger I think I would have no problem, but being middle age I'm very happy just in the here and now. :)

In a second, but then, I am a 'retired' history teacher.

And IBM stock! Sure I'd do the other stuff to, but first things first! :thumbsup2

hey - all of you into time travel - read The Time Traveler's Wife - great read!!!

I'd love to time travel in the past if I could somehow be "protected" from stuff like the plague and if I could be sure that I wouldn't ruin something.

In a heartbeat! I would definatel travel back in time with no worries what so ever. I wouldn't want to change things. But in all honesty, I would. Nothing that would matter though. I would change a few haircuts/perms/colors that were not flattering. Rethink a few wardrobe decisions I have made. And since I always have a weight issue, I would keep myself from eathing a few things. I would probably travel to the future as well. But I would be a little more hesitant to do so. Im just not sure I want to see my future.
