Hi Tim!! In case I miss you before leaving I just wanted to wish you guys a safe and happy trip! I hope the weather cooperates with you leaving and it warms up just a tad for you. You remember how hot it was in October so now you guys won't be sweating buckets!!

I will definitely say a prayer for the sweet little girl and I also have a hard time reading this. Life can be so fragile so we have to enjoy every minute - hence our April trip!

You are right about not sweating. I'm thinking of packing my leather gloves (no OJ) and bringing a light jacket.

I will tell Juliana you said Happy Birthday to her.

She needs prayers. They are letting her go home from the hospital today and it looks like they are not going to pursue any more treatments.

So exciting! I would definately give Mel the tickets! I recently read a TR where they forgot to set the alarm and had to get on a later flight! I would have died, so remember the alarm!

Lauren (lbuzz52), who checks in here, slept past the alarm. I think they had to get on a later flight. We have Melody's dad driving us to the airport. He is coming here to get up so if worst came to worst he'd wake us up. I don't think it will be a problem though 2 alarms and the excitement will get me up!!!!

I hear you about winter. I was tired of it over a month ago. But they are promising us 45 on Friday.

My brother is doing okay. He said it was great to sleep in his own bed and NOT be woken up every hour for his temperature, vitals, etc. Luckily, Mark is in Vegas until Wednesday so my brother drove me to the train (yes, he was given permission to drive) and he went to the hospital to the lab for his blood work (has to go once a week) and to turn in paperwork to get disability. He's got a long way to go with losing weight and feeling strong, but he's glad to be home and alive (the doctor told him he was VERY lucky to still be with us).

That is great news about your brother. Now it is up to him to take care of himself. He needs to have the willingness to do it.

I'm jealous that you are only 30 mins from the ocean. I grew up in OC, CA and took it for granted. It's one of the few things I miss about CA. We are fortunate that my parents still have a little vacation cottage on the water that the kids get to experience every summer. But, like you said, at least it's an option if you need to get out.

OK tomorrow's weather here is 50% chance of snow showers. The main precipitation is going to stay to the south. The good- we should get out on time. The bad- we will be flying through this system... I'm ready for a bumpy ride.

My parents are in Orlando right now. Claire and I took them to the airport last Thursday and when we dropped them off Claire was teary eyed and said I wish this was OUR trip.
The weather has been for the most part OK. Though my mom said it poured al lday Sat. and Sunday the high was 49!!!! But other than that not too bad. I think she said in the 70's yesterday and a chance of rain today. They did Universal Friday and Bush Gardens yesterday. (A visit to Aunt and Uncles Sunday an hour away. I think they were planning on MK today, but it will depend on the rain she said, if not then tomorrow.
I am still jealous too. I would rather be there in the coller weather than here.
