I used to hit the casinos a few times a year... I haven't been there since 11/08. I like to play but don't have the time and don't like depositing my money to the Indians.

I'll say. That's like 5 minutes at a slot! Ah well, had I known, I'd have saved it for my Potato head parts or something other that is fun. Now it's gone forever.

I hear they make more money than some corporate bosses!!

We have the biggest casino in the world here in CT- Foxwoods. There is a another one Mohegan that is big too. They are run by Native Americans... i said Indians before not to be confused by people from India. Between the 2 casinos they give the state $400 million from slot revenues a year.... which I think is 30%? Not positive about that number but it is something like that.

Dave forwarded me the first email and this is what it said....

It says: We are in possession of your precious MJ. We don't want to hurt him but we will if you don't meet our demands. Ignore this and MJ will pay dearly.

OH YEA... MJ was ON the cake!!!!!!

I'm totally loving this ransom thing.
He needs to be back for Disney though. Disneyland was one of MJ's favorite places in the world. I know he would love WDW too!

I think we are going to cancel our Akershus ADR on Saturday. We are going to save $80+ for lunch. The girls will miss out on the princesses but hopefully we will see them around the WS. Also we won't be tied into being in Norway at 12:30. I think it will give us a little more flexibility.

Branda wants to eat at Kona for breakfast, so I made a ADR on Wednesday. I'm going to cancel another ADR I have there for Mel, Juliana, and I.

Juliana is having fun pulling off her Mickey heads from our countdown calendar.

I did the first t-shirt transfer and I kept the iron on it for too long and I turned it yellow. LOL

Isn't it funny sometimes when we cancel an ADR there is sort of a relief for the time it frees up? I love our table services (as does my DH), but this time around even though we have several ADR's we don't feel the "pressure" since we're not doing the dining plan and using our gift card towards it. We might cancel Tutto Italia for this reason as it would be about $100 out of pocket. We'll be sharing more too, which is fine with us!

You've heard my story of Akershus before... I'll say it again. I'm sure others have had great times there, but when we had lunch, the princesses breezed through like they were late for a crown fitting. How are you. Turn around for the camera. buzz off. That was it. Food was very so-so.

You could pay $80 and have a nice lunch somewhere else.

MJ is the man! He likes to come out and play every once in a while.

We are debating canceling another dinner.... I don't want to but.. we'll see what happens.

We didn't get one flake of snow here. It stayed south of CT. I wish we got 2 feet though... that would of been fun to play in!

We had breakfast there last year and I liked it.. Mel.. not so much. I'm really not disappointed.

Just checkin in and finally catching up.

The cruise looked like lots of fun. Your pictures made me miss NYC. We used to go 3 or 4 times a year when we visited the in-laws in NJ but I haven't been since they moved to IN a year ago.

Lion King photos are amazing! Did they not restrict cameras? How did the show compare to the Broadway show. I saw it on Broadway the year it opened with DMIL and then again with the girls a few years after that. I enjoyed watching the expression on the girls faces the second time around.

Any word on the cake yet? I'm keeping my eyes peeled but nothing new and unique has caught my eye lately.

We are about 20 miles from Middletown. People over 50 miles away felt the blast. I can't say that I felt anything. I was making some food for a superbowl party. I didn't even know what happened till about 3pm. 5 people ended up dying.

We had a blast on the cruise. I'd do it again in a minute. It was nice to get away with the wifey.

The Lion King was great. They said no pictures but I had to take a few.... The only difference between this and the broadway show was the broadway show had more of the bigger animals.. more elephants and giraffes. They story was the same, it was just in a smaller theatre.

I need to decide on a cake. I'm still scouring the boards to find a reasonable cake.

I hope MJ is OK. I really would like him to share in the fun of this trip.

Well here we are. Another 3 months have passed and tomorrow Juliana has her scans again. The doctor called and told us that Juliana isn't having a CAT scan tomorrow but 'just' having an ultrasound, x-ray, and bloodwork.

I guess this is a good thing but we really thought she was having the CAT scan since she hasn't had one in a while. We'll have to wait till later in the afternoon to get the results.. as always. We'll also see what he says about her next appointment, whether it is 3 or 6 months.

It's hard to believe that this is the 3rd (or maybe even 4th) set of workups I've been here with! Amazing how fast time flies. I know it's always a stressful few days for you and Mel, and certainly is no picnic for Juliana!! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow as you go in!

I know.. these 3 month increments go fairly fast. I can't wait till it is only a yearly check up. At the time we didn't think so but Juliana is really lucky. All the best prognoses have come true. We really could not have asked of anything better.

The only problem is that MJ doesn't 'belong' to me. He is owned by our friends. I hope they step up and take care of business before our trip. I really need MJ to go to Florida. If the ransom is payed, I will be bringing him to a few parks to take in all the sights.
