Time to DOUBLE up!! 2 for 1 Pre-TR!!!!!!! TRIP REPORT HAS STARTED!!!!!!!

Wow! How frightening! Glad you called the police to help out, and that other help came too. Not a good way to start a day on the lake (?). But all's well that ends well. Sounded kind of relaxing in the end.

Those photos of your family are gorgeous!! Juliana is such a doll!

Mini golf is a blast! We did that on our last home leave, and my 9 year old beat me pretty good! Scorn for him!

Aw, I'm so glad it was a sunny, nice day for you! It was rainy and cold all day here and the little guy was ITCHING to go outside but he's been sick so we didn't.

We must of got whatever weather you were having yesterday. It didn't even hit 70 here today. No rain but cloudy all day! What a crappy spring/summer we've had here. I need to have some 85-90 degree weather!!!!

yay Juliana!

You rock!

She'll be beating Melody and I someday!!! LOLOL

We did get to relax. Once we got on the lake and found 'our' spot, I had to crack open a beer!:drinking1

First off, congrats on your illustrious membership in the Dad's Club! Let us know what that means, okay??! :confused3

We're going to miss you- really! Have a wonderful, wonderful trip to IN, drive safe, and we'll look forward to your posts when you get back.

Love the mini-golf and boating pictures! Juliana is so adorable!! How scary about the tire.

Hope you guys have a great vacation! Looking forward to more Disney news when you get back! :thumbsup2

Have a great time in Indiana!

I'll probably only see you when I get back from WDW! :)

You found me again! ;) How is all your planning going?? If I can find them I'll post a few pictures of last years MNSSHP later on today for ya.

My planning is going pretty well :goodvibes I have just under 3 weeks for my one trip and just over 90 days for my second trip! I have him convinced now on the Halloween party, so we're good :thumbsup2

Your daughter looks so adorable in the pictures! When I was little I used to say "yadder" instead of "ladder" and "lellow" instead of "yellow." My parents tried to correct me, but I was stubborn for quite a while!

LOL! My son said Lellow too! For a really long time. Now that he is 20...LOL... He says it right though.

I had a few minutes this morning to jump online. Juliana loves waking up at 7AM and it was my turn to wake up with her! We are having a great time! Yesterday we went to the Indianapolis Zoo. The kids had a great time. Boy was it hot though... it was about 90 but man that sun was blazing!!!!:sunny: It took us about 13 hours total to get here. We did stop at the 6 hour mark to sleep for a few hours. With numerous potty breaks for the girls, I felt like we were stopped more than we were driving! LOLOL Pennsylvania has to be the most boring stretch of highway I ever drove on. Once we crosses into Ohio it got more interesting. I guess that's it for now. :goodvibes

Good to hear I'm not the only one :thumbsup2 My parents used to say "ye-ye-ye-ye-yellow." and I'd repeat back to them "ye-ye-ye-ye-lellow." Same thing with ladder!

Boy, I sure didn't expect you to post until you got back. Glad to hear it all going great, but you'd better break out that computer before time slips away! We all want to hear all that was planned when you get back!

I'll be getting to that..... Very shortly;)

It was 1 week ago when we loaded up the truck for our trek to Indiana. I worked Saturday till 5, got home about 5:45, then finished loading up the truck. We had a fast dinner then we were off. By the time we stopped for gas and got on the highway it was around 7:20. We stopped a few times for potty breaks and coffee(for Mel). We hits ome very heavy rain around Wilkes Barre, PA. At one point I was following behind a car going 30 in a one lane construction zone for 10 miles. :scared1: I wanted to scream!!!!! (As I stated earlier driving through PA is the worst!!!!!!) Juliana woke up a few times crying and she needed to get out of the car seat. We stopped at 2AM in Clarion, PA and stayed at a decent hotel. It was nice, but we were basically there to sleep. Juliana woke up at 7:45 (she is our personal alarm clock!) and got ready to start driving again. After another gas stop we hit the highway for the second leg of our trip.

Clarion is about 1 hour from the Ohio boarder. I went to Ohio once before when I was a kid.. i really don't remember it all that well. It took us about 4 1/2 hours to cross Ohio.... then we saw the 'Welcome to Indiana' sign! We arrived at our friends house about 3:30. The kids were so happy to see each other! Dave & Branda made a nice steak dinner for us then we went for a walk to work off dinner and to feed the ducks!

The sun didn't set until 9:30 out there and it finally gets dark around 10! It is really weird! We finally got the kids to bed and the 'adults' hung out having a few cocktails.:goodvibes

That sounds like a grueling drive! Yikes!

Glad you made it though, and could relax some in the afternoon. Although feeding the ducks CAN be stressful, if they have an attitude. Some that we've fed think they own the world AND whatever's in your hand. (Maybe your hand, too)

Looking forward to seeing what you did during the week! Especially those plans you all made.

It always make me smile when I see a Liesa post at 1 something in the morning. I forget that it is daytime over there. Very strange.

They are so cute!! Holding hands! I missed some of this...are they related? Or are these just friends of you guys?

The ducks look like fun!

We had the ducks taking the bread from our hands. Luckily no one got bit!!! LOL

Maybe I should do what you did and write in different colors for different trips? :rotfl:

I'll recap who they are: (stolen from post 1!!! 4/8/09 LOLOLOL)

Spring trip- DW Melody, DD3 Juliana, Me Tim & our friends Dave, Branda, Victoria (3), Alex (2)
Spring Trip- 1st or 2nd week of March
Spring Trip- Thinking of renting a house

* Reasons for going? Our spring trip was being discussed for at least 6-8 months. Our friends moved last year from Connecticut to Indiana. We get to see them every few months when they come back to CT. We also have a summer trip planned to drive out and see them in Indiana. Our daughters are only 1 month apart in age and they love each other. Both Juliana and Victoria love the princesses. Juliana's favorite is Cinderella and Victoria's favorite is Belle. We have traveled with Dave & Branda many times before we had kids. They love to have a good time and when we are all together LOOK OUT! They have never been to Disney before and since we haven't traveled with them in a while, what better place to go?
