Wow! How frightening! Glad you called the police to help out, and that other help came too. Not a good way to start a day on the lake (?). But all's well that ends well. Sounded kind of relaxing in the end.
Those photos of your family are gorgeous!! Juliana is such a doll!
Mini golf is a blast! We did that on our last home leave, and my 9 year old beat me pretty good! Scorn for him!

How is all your planning going?? If I can find them I'll post a few pictures of last years
We are having a great time! Yesterday we went to the Indianapolis Zoo. The kids had a great time. Boy was it hot though... it was about 90 but man that sun was blazing!!!!
It took us about 13 hours total to get here. We did stop at the 6 hour mark to sleep for a few hours. With numerous potty breaks for the girls, I felt like we were stopped more than we were driving! LOLOL Pennsylvania has to be the most boring stretch of highway I ever drove on. Once we crosses into Ohio it got more interesting. I guess that's it for now.

I wanted to scream!!!!! (As I stated earlier driving through PA is the worst!!!!!!) Juliana woke up a few times crying and she needed to get out of the car seat. We stopped at 2AM in Clarion, PA and stayed at a decent hotel. It was nice, but we were basically there to sleep. Juliana woke up at 7:45 (she is our personal alarm clock!) and got ready to start driving again. After another gas stop we hit the highway for the second leg of our trip.
