Time to Decorate the Disney Tree

Let's set up a cyber tree and get to work decorating it.

First, I'll string my Mickey "parts" lights. Let's see, plugged them in, had to jiggle a bulb, but now they're all lit. Mickey's head, shoes, shorts and gloves are glowing.

It's still looking pretty bare.

What can you hang on our Collector's Tree?

I like the Fab 5/6 characters so I think I will pick the lovely Christopher Radko ornaments.

I will carefully hang ( at the top of course so no little hands can reach them )

Pluto goes on first...he is my favorite.

I am stepping back and am STILL looking at a pretty bare tree

my miniature Disney Princess ornaments..now we have Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Alice, Jasmine, Ariel, Tinkerbell,and Snow White on our DIS tree!

I like to start at the top and put my ceramic Mickey father santa dressed in his velvet jacket - he is so old and has so many memories.

Then I like to lean my ladder of characters up the side of the tree.
When you turn it on they all pass the star up to Mickey - and they are all in their jammies - it is so cute. This is one of my favorite things.

Next, I'll add my Christopher Radko Sebastian ornament. The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie, so that ornament always goes on first.

The tree still looks bare. What should go on next?

We can't have a Christmas Tree. We have a 52" tall plush Figment. No room for both. We string garlanding around him and hang ornaments from his horns. BTW, due to his size he just barely fits inside a standard WDW monorail set.

OK now we have to have a few villians climbing that tree to make the good guys - good guys.

So look for Maleficent, Evil Queen, Chernabog and Horned King to heading up the tree.

What!! No POOH on the tree yet?? Well, that won't do. I think I can help there.

I have enough to completely cover a 7 foot tree. But I'll only put on about a dozen. Gotta have some for my tree ya know. There. it's filling up now. What's next, Oh yeah, I have a Pooh and friends tree skirt. There ya go.

How about a monorail to hang on the tree too? This one talks and says 'Thank you and welcome aboard the walt disney world monorail' it is definately one of my favorite pieces.

Do you think there is room for the contemporary, poly and GF underneath the tree to go with KAP's monorail?

I've got a few more ornaments to add:

Sorcerer Mickey, Zero, Oogie Boogie, Tinkerbell and Dopey.

I'd also like to add some candy canes--bubble gum flavored as those are my kids favorite.

Our cyber tree is really looking beautiful and coming along!!!

I just saw this thread today so I want to donate my favorite Disney ornament off my tree. It is a mirrored ball shaped like Mickey's ears with a rotating plug to make it spin and reflect the lights.
