I am expecting to make reasonably early starts to the day. So, if we eat a light breakfast with our snack credits or cereal in the room etc. do you think it would be better to do TS lunches, back to resort for a dip, then CS in the parks for the evening attractions OR early morning parks, CS lunch, resort for a rest/pool dip and then TS for dinner. Can't make up my mind. Thought I'd sorted out the food situation as I've already picked out where we're going to eat, just got to sort out a time for the ADR's. DH thinks I'm mad. Guess who thinks we can just walk in and get a table? :rolleyes1

I simply couldn't eat a big meal in the middle of the day...a counter service is more than enough and we often skip lunch altogether in the heat so for me, TS in the evening.

We tend to just a snack in the room for breakfast - something like a breakfast bar and then have an early counter service lunch around 11-11:30 (depending on when they open :) ).
This seems to work out quite well with the counter service restaurants being quite empty.

The one advantage of doing a table service lunch is that although the menus are similar to dinner menus, they are cheaper :) (Not really applicable if on the dining Plan though :) ).
Guess it depends on what you plan to do in the afternoon and evening as to whether you can handle a full table service meal for lunch.

if you are on the ddp it fells like you are eating all day :rotfl: .We were early risers as wel we would use a snack credit (bakery item)for breakfast.about 12ish we would have dinner say a pulled pork bbq sandwich and ice cream(in waterparks they give you a token to get ice cream later). Our evening meal we booked for 7 pm (next year would book it for 8pm ish). Most days we were stuffed with all that food(gave sil 12 QS credits) last evening we went to goffys candy shop in DD and used 12 snacks on things $4 and under to bring home.

This is what we did too

We'd have breakfast, which was cereal or a muffin, in the room and an early CS lunch. We got served quickly and didn't waste too much time over lunch. Our TS dinners were around 6 ish and if by some remote chance we were hungry later we had a snack.

We actually had 4 CS and 9 snack credits left on our last day but as we were heading to Vero we stocked up on drinks / nuts and rice crispy bars.

when we do it again would do more 2 TS meals, and use QS for meals inbertween these as 3 QS would do the 4 of us no problem

We like to vary it :)

Most days we had a light breakfast (say fruit) and then either Quick Service / Counter Service for lunch at 11.30 with a Table Service for tea / dinner at 7.30 / 8.00 - or, some days we did a Table Service for luch (at about 1.00pm havifn had a slightly more substantial breakfast) and then QS/CS for tea in the evening 8.30 / 9.00 ish

We will either have no breakfast and then TS meals for lunch and dinner. Or we will have a character breakfast, skip lunch and have a TS dinner. We have the odd CS meal but usually prefer sit down meals.

Just one of my thoughts behind eating TS at lunchtime is maybe quieter for one thing and hoping the parks are quieter come 6pm 'ish' when maybe people staying off site have had enough and are leaving then we could go into the parks get CS and a more leisurely look around than during the afternoon. Having never been before all of these plans may seem daft to you that have been before. I'd appreciate your comments! :confused3

We try to have breakfast at the hotel and CS for lunch about 11am (Early to avoid queues) and next trip we want to do TS for dinner but the times vary, it will be great to have a meal without a rush so I'm gonna try and book for about 1 or 2 hours before a parade or fireworks show so fingers crossed :goodvibes :goodvibes

we are going to get the 14 day pass when we do it next year,we are then going to use the waterparks as our pool in the mornning then go to a park in the evening to do a TS meal

We usually tend to ahve a lightish breakfast, a counter service lunch and then something more substantial in the evening!
However i think im doing DDP next year so i need to start preparing for all that extra food!!

Well, we're 2 adults and thinking of sharing one CS for lunch at about 11.30, then sharing another CS at around 3.00, so hopefully we won't be too stuffed at each sitting in the day! Our TS are all booked for late, about 9 and we don't think we'll be able to eat the deserts so we plan on ordering deserts that we can box and take back to be eaten when we get up at 7ish if we're hungry. With regards to snack credits we're going to use a few of them at the F&W festival on a day when we've only got 1 CS planned to share and the rest at Goofy's candy store for goodies to bring home, perhaps also a box or 2 of donuts :O) :Pinkbounc

Does this sound like a good plan?
