Time frame for when to rent points?

If planning to rent points for Aulani, for a Garden view or Poolside view studio, does that need to be done at 11 months out or later?

I would think this is going to depend a lot on when you want to go, but the rule of thumb is always at 11 months if you can as it gives you the best chance.

Depends on time of year and amount of days. Studios are harder to get than villas as a general rule of thumb.

If you know 11 months out, send the DVC request before then so a member can book on the 11 month date. It's normally a little cheaper to rent at 7 months, but getting a cheaper category at 11 months will save more money.
