Time for GP offers?

I was wondering what time the general public offers usually get posted? Is it always at like 6am, 12pm, 6pm, etc, or is it at a random time?

In my experience we on the disboards find out about the general discounts before they are posted to the Disney website
There are usually a few threads up and running by 7:00am waiting for the phone lines to open up the day the new discount goes into affect.
The Disney website usually has the new promotion up before 10am though

Has anyone had a different experience?

Question... is it expected tomorrow? I just checked Disney Visa and there isn't anything listed. Last year I know it came there first and then GP after the weekend.

Actually the FD general public offer in the beginning of May 2010 was preceded by the Disney Visa offer.
The FD promotion in July and August went straight to the general public. So it's anyone's guess when the next discount will be released and if Disney Visa card holders will get first dibs.
Because the free quick serivice PIN's have just started and there are still PINs going out for September plus we've started to hear rumours about a mid-August promotion, I'm guessing tomorrow is not the day....but stranger things have happened!

On the disneyrewards.com website, there's a tab at the top for Cardmember offers (something like that)--any discounts for current cardmembers are listed there. HTH.

On the December 2011 board, there was CM that told someone to keep their eyes open in about 5 weeks. I don't know if it is going to take that long seeing as the free quick service dining PINs are starting to come out - one can only hope!!!!!!

I would take that rumor in 3 parts.

1-- nothing is imminent. Probably true. The CM may have a sense of new promotions a few days before they launch.

2-- nothing is coming for 5 weeks. I doubt the phone CMs really know much in this regard. In early June, I asked a CM when 2012 rates would be out, I was told August. The rates came out 5 days later. I am guessing this was CM speculation.

3-- something is coming in about 5 weeks. CMs are probably routinely asked when discounts will be announced. They probably have canned responses. Falls discounts in mid summer. Winter discounts in mid fall. And traditionally, discounts have been announced at these times. In 2010, we saw earlier announcements. So this part of the rumor may be true based on history. But I doubt the CM had specific knowledge.

Comes down to this. I would be shocked if we didn't see something by mid August. In fact, I'd be surprised if we didn't see something by late July.
But it doesn't appear anything is imminent.
