Time difference between taking the boat from DHS to EPCOT as compared to bus - which is faster?

We use to always take the boat between the parks, though was wondering what the time difference was by taking the bus as compared to the boat.

Not counting the wait for bus or boat, bus would be faster. But you also need to factor in if you want to be in the world showcase or future world. We typically do the boat or even walk since we are going from mom to Epcot to eat in WS.

We've never done the bus between the two parks. Unless the boat is at the dock when we walk out of DHS, we always walk. Even if the boat is at the dock sometimes the walk is faster because of the stops the boat makes between DHS and Epcot.

Thanks! Going to Future World.

I've done the boat ride a lot and it is a long ride. I can't imagine it being shorter than the bus ride considering how close the two parks are. Hop on it for the enjoyment of the ride .. not the speed of transportation.

It also depends on where you are in EPCOT, and how long you wait for a boat. Generally speaking the boat is a little longer, or a lot longer depending. But as noted above it's a really pleasant ride!

Not sure but I would guess that it would be fastest to take a boat between DHS and the first stop at Swan/Dolphin, and then just walk to Epcot from there than to wait for the other stops at BW and YC/BC. But that is only if you are headed to WC at Epcot. It sounds though you want to go to FW and I think the bus would be fastest to get there.

We always walk too but again, we're always headed to World Showcase rather than Future World. We'd still probably walk, though. Bus and boat take too long and we're not obese or disabled.
