Time cabins available

We’re on the Fastasy awaiting the announcement that cabins are open. I thought that happened around 2:00. Am I remembering the time wrong? Am I remembering that they make an announcement wrong? We ca certainly wait until whenever, but Hubby is really much happier when he knows what’s going to happen next and I’ve become the vacation planner so he thinks I know everything. Sigh.

That's been the normally announced time, however sometimes they open the hallways a little earlier. Also we had them opened and no announcement.

I would look at your hallway and see if it’s open. There could be a delay somewhere, so some are open and some aren’t. Or maybe everything is delayed. Or maybe someone just forgot to make an announcement. I actually don’t recall the announcements; I either didn’t pay attention or didn’t care. Good luck

I’ve never noticed an announcement. We usually head there between 1:30-2:00. When they are ready, the room host will open the doors to let you in the hallway.

Usually, we don't board until after they're open, but once or twice we have been there, and they had a rope across the hallway. When the rooms were ready, they dropped the rope, but I never recall hearing an announcement.

When we cruised the Dream 2 weeks ago they called the cabins ready at 1, but the cabin next to us immediately called the steward to vacuum and we discovered some cleanliness issues throughout the cruise. So better late than dirty.

I was on the Fantasy end of December. Our room was ready about 2 p.m. No announcement.

I never remember there being an announcement. The past few cruises we were sort of milling about the hallway and saw them take the ropes down.
