Wow- up since 4am. I don't know how any of you were awake. I sure hope your room is ready when you get back to the lodge!

So excited you have started the TR!!

I know, you'll see how long it lasts in the next installment.

MMMM! Love the Rice Cream in the middle!!! That was the best part of this meal when we tried it a few years ago. I ate EVERY LAST DROP!


That's awesome! We love those books, too and have been getting them for Amelia on the last several trips. I have such fond memories of them as a child!

On a side note, everytime Amelia sees a picture of Lauren, she says, "Hey! There's me!" I've tried explaining to her that it was Princess Lauren, but hey, she's 3!



OH GROSS!
Reminds me of December 03 when my Mom and I were in Voyage of the Little Mermaid. There was a kid sitting next to us in what probably was a CRAPload in her pants. UGH! IT was foul!!!!

We didn't try the rice cream, guess we should have. That is funny about Voyage, unfortunately there is not escaping those odors in Disney. Those books are supposed to be released in August because they have a movie coming out, at least that is what someone in a bookstore told us, we'll see.

yeahh!!! we are going to the wilderness lodge in december so i can not wait to here how your stay was. love your reports made my day to find an update this morning!!!

Oh, well then stay tuned, lots of WL photo's, comments and even video coming up.

BUT - you are so right...when you have spent that much money, what's another $200 dollars that will make your trip easier and more manageable?! Glad to hear that it worked out for you guys!

In that first picture at Akershus it looks like Luke still has his front teeth--didn't he lose both of them already?

Did you know you can order the Mr. Men books off amazon? I was at Barnes & Noble yesterday at Union Centre Blvd and they had some Little Miss books--although I can't say I was looking for the Mr. Men ones. Just trying to find ways so you don't have to special order.

I'm excited to read about your room. 4 years ago we got 5th floor WL MK side--and I know what you mean--it has to be the best location there. Can't wait for the next installment.

Yes, you are right, he just lost those teeth two weeks before we left and they are growing in super super fast. I have ordered a book for Luke (Mr. Tickle) off of Amazon before, thanks for the Barnes and Noble tip, I'll check that out, they were supposed to release in July maybe they are out early. Glad you've experienced WL MK side, isn't it just the best!!!

Count me in I can't wait to read more

Wow Leslie, great first report. You guys sure accomplished a lot at Epcot. The princesses were very cute, and your kids are so adorable.

It is hard to walk around the WS when it is so hot. We spent a lot of time going into the stores to cool off! Oh I mean shop!

Oh yes, and the day just continues, we've barely gotten started (stay tuned). Thanks for the kids comments, of course I'm partial. Yes, that WS can be so hot but we trudged through.

Lesley--GREAT first installment--but hey, that is what we have come to know and love about your TRs!!!! We did the Princess dinner at Akershus, and also were surprised about the picture being included---there will be much about that dinner on my TR when I get to that point, but I wanted to ask about the Norwegian servers and staff that were at the restaurant the day you all went--were they all (both men and women) as drop dead gorgeous as the people there the night we went?!?!?!? The lady who seated us was GORGEOUS with the most beautiful skin, and our server (Magnus) was SO good-looking even Tom made a comment--He said, "If this is what all the people in Norway look like, why would they ever leave?!?!?!?" BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE for sure! I'm glad you all tried the Maelstrom for the first time--it has been one of Megan's faves for years--not for the actual theming of the ride (she thinks that is kind of weird) but she loves the turns, backwards slide, and the final drop! Glad you all enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!! SO looking forward to the next installment!!! Jen

I have to admit that I've read your other reports and enjoyed them a lot, but never posted. I'm glad you've started another one!

I'm a little jealous - we did the Princess breakfast last June, but we didn't have Ariel or Cinderella there! We didn't make a reservation there for our trip this year, but now I'm wondering if I should have. Our kids are pretty picky eaters, and so wouldn't ever go for the lunch there. Do you know if the same selection of princesses (especially Cinderella) is there in the mornings? Of course, we're going in September, so changing might not even be an option there, but it's a thought. Thanks!

I am always interested to see what people do on arrival day....Last July we had woodsview MK view 4th floor and were pleasntly surprised to see the most fireworks each night, we loved that room esp. too b/c in the morning you just take the elevator down to get the coffee and can bring it right back up to the room...can't wait to hear more

I CAN'T believe we didn't run into you on Monday @ PSB... Our ressie was @12.... Our server was Annette, beautiful and sweet, but I have to say that was the worst service we had all week. I'll go into that in my tr...
Funny about the food b/c I only really enjoyed the desserts. But we were thrilled with the " fab 5" so to speak we REALLY lucked out on that one!

I am kicking myself that we never made it to Maelstrom, never even occured to me to go after lunch b/c we had to met back up, and we never really made it throw the WS... The kids never wanted to leave FW.

Mr. Men is a favorite of mine too. In fact my kids have been nickemaned after Little Miss Chatterbox, Mr. Bounce and Mr. Noisy...lol
