Great start so far , looks like you and Bryan are having fun. Disney is so great without the kids too isn't it? Would of been nice if the ladies went though . Cool that you got to attend Disapalooza. Biergarten looks great, might have to make an ADR there.

The pics of the decorations at Epcot are great and I have to agree that it is wonderful that Disney had not taken the real reason out of Christmas like every other company is trying to. What a way to start a trip! The CP looks wonderful. Hooray for Disney for celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. Isn't that fantastic! The fireworks at Epcot were awesome! Can't wait for the rest!

OK...let's try this again! WOW! I am surprised that you let Bryan back into the room that 1st night at Saratoga. He didn't wait for you at the airport or Saratoga! He rode Space Mountain 5 times without you and then rubbed it in how warm he was in his fleece....NICE GUY! Seriously, it looked like a BLAST and I love your AWARD WINNING smiles!!!!! Looking forward to more!

Awesome start! I was at the CP with Andy Garcia but the 5pm showing. Wasn't it amazing?? I thought he did a great job. While we were waiting we chatted with a woman who said she came one year with Mario Lopez and he was texting during the performances!

Andy was terrific, how rude if Mario was doing that!!

I'm in. I think we were at Epcot the same night, It was freezing! We had just gone back for Illuminations, and drizzling rain started as we waited for illuminations. At least the weather got much better in the days following.

I saw the candlelight processional for the first time last year and felt the same way. It is so moving. You put it best, with all the "political correctness", everywhere, it was nice to hear the bible and Christian Christmas songs and it was viewed as ok and good.

Can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip.

The weather was so crappy that night!! The music was definitely surprising and refreshing.

Looks like a great start to your trip!! Too bad it was so cold that first night. I never think about it being so cold down there (we are usually there in April or May) but I guess it does get pretty cold!! Cannot wait to read more!!

I was totally surprised about how cold it was that night, totally unprepared!!

I can imagine how strange it felt for you to be traveling solo. I guess you just had to settle for being silly for strangers, instead of entertaining Lesley and the kids!

Did you get to ride the newly refurbished Space Mountain? Or was Bryan sick of it by the time you found him?!

Sorry you were so cold at Epcot... Was the budget too tight to go buy a nice new fleece for yourself?!?

We are trying the Germany restaurant for the first time on Spring Break. The picture of your plate assures me that Matt will certainly be able to find something to eat! Glad they got you in, even with the mix up. (Seriously, why DO they give us confirmation numbers?!?!)

LOVED the video of the Illuminations finale. I have one just like it, but it's from Mexico. If I ever get my TR updated, you can check it out!

I drove 45 minutes to the airport in Dayton where I was flying with Airtran, boy did I miss Southwest this time. Airtran didn’t do a bad job, but the bags weren’t free, and the staff was just not that friendly.

Anyway, we left Dayton at 8:00 am and by 10:00 am I was Landing safely in Orlando, boy was I a happy boy.

That's the same flight we always take out of dayton...flight 703. The wife & I are actually trying to get it named after us since we take it so many times. I agree about the staff but you sure can't beat the flight time, from Dayton to Disney in 2 hours!

Anyway, great trip report, can't wait to read more!
