We did this in October. DD and I went to the GF for afternoon Tea after reading about it on so many TR's. DH and DS went to the ESPN Club, and then we met up in Epcot afterwards. It was wonderful for everyone. Hope y'all enjoy it.
Glad to hear it worked out for you guys too, I really am looking forward to it, should be fun. Only problem is one camera, oh well, it's coming with me and Lauren

I am working on my packing list too. Perhaps a few things to add for the parks is a change of clothes for the kids or bathing suits in case they want to get wet. And towel(s) which double as a "blanket" to wrap them up in at night if they get cold. Also dont forget the sunscreen for during the day. Also, I use baby wipes all the time even clean up adult hands! Someone suggested to me not to lug around tour/guide books. I am mixed on this. All's I know is my "day bag" is too heavy.
Great idea to make copies of tickets.
Actually I should have clarified, that's what I'll put in my bag in the suitcase. For the parks, I will steal your towel idea for at night time. For sunscreen, we put that on before we leave the hotel, I never take the tour guide books. All that is in my bag is juice boxes, a few bottles of water, we grab maps at the parks,camera, wet wipes are a good idea, this is the first year I don't need those due to Lauren being potty trained

. We then have another backpack that has our poncho's in it as well. I try to keep it to a minimum.
As for teh copies of tickets, I unfortunately know this from experience. This year we have a package so it doesn't need to be done. HOWEVER (time for a funny story) 3 trips ago when Luke was 3 and Lauren was 8 months and we stayed at POP, we booked hotel seperately and bought tickets seperately. I read on mousesavers to copy the front and backs of tickets because if they got lost that is the only way you could replace them. Fast forward to first morning at Disney, we are leaving the hotel, I have the stroller, everything ready to go, smiling from ear to ear ready for our first day in the parks. . . "Tim you have the tickets right?" . . .TOTAL look of panic in Tim's eyes

. . . .mad dash to the room safe. . . .TOTAL look of panic in my eyes and of course a "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME

" remark.
Well, he had LEFT THEM IN THE SCANNER AT HOME, he was making copies of them, WE HAD THE COPIES fortunately but no tickets. I couldn't believe it. We high tailed it to the front desk at POP copies in hand and they told us we were in luck, since we had copied them they could replace them at the front counter of the park. We took them to customer service at MGM and they gave us replacement tickets.
Unfortunately that wasn't the ONLY time we lost tickets this trip, we also left Luke's ticket in a Fast Pass machine this trip and they replaced that for us at the front gate due to the copies as well, TONS OF BAD luck that trip, but oh well. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS copy your tickets if you purchased them separately . . . .just be sure to bring the tickets too and put them in separate places (like, not at home in your scanner

)
