Tim and Lesley Year of Million Compromises/TONS pics- 8/5 help me pg. 164!!!

Luke got some CARS easter eggs with CARS in them and a Webkin bunny he had wanted. Lesley

Hey.. if Luke wants a friend to play on Webkinz with him, feel free to add my son's username!

It's tysonmh... and his webkinz pet is a tiger named Tommy. We LOVE the Webkinz site... sure wish Disney would have something like it!;)

Great vacation photos Lesley. :) That's a really nice family photo.
Thanks, we had a great time.

Thanks for the extra info:flower3: We will definitely give it a try! I'll let you know what happens.
Yes, let me know.
Lesley

Great SCORE on the Webkin bunny! They can't be found down here.

Doin' my 60's dance for ya'! :cool1: :dance3: :flower3:

I know you will be relieved to have it paid off.
They were SUPER hard to find here too. I called our Hallmark every day. When they had them I got so excited I paid by CC over the phone but when I got there the store was full of them. The next day I told a friend at work who tried to get one and they were already gone, they are CRAZY!!!
Thanks for the 60's dance, 50's before we know it baby!!!!
Lesley

That sounds like so much fun and what a terrific memory! My Tim (age 6) would LOVE that too, as would DH. Since we won't be there though, we'll just have to cross our fingers for your boys to get the chance!

BTW, we have an ADR for breakfast at AK at the same time as you guys. I'll have to figure out how to post a picture so that we can look for each other!

Hope you had a great first day back at work after Spring Break!
That does sound fun, are you going to try it too?? Cool about AK, upload a pic so we can look for you!!

Ohhh cool Luke will be so excited, I'm going to PM you his Webkin i.d. now :goodvibes

You know Tim and I were just talking about that the other day. If Disney would do this with Princess', Mickey, etc. and do a webkin type of thing where they could decorate their castle, etc. it would go NUTS too, they need to get on board, wish I could patent it :lmao:

So. . .. . Are you READY TO DANCE WITH ME!!!!!?????:cool1: :cool1: :dance3: :dance3:    :cool1:  :dance3: :cool1:

Lesley

Woohoo for you! I have until the 24th to pay off our trip so I guess I'll keep our money a bit longer in the bank....

Well, what I found out so far is the ages are about 4-10 year olds. They do sign ups first thing (I'm trying to find out where in MGM so Tim and Luke can make a run for it) and they allow about 20-30 kids in the parade, an adult must march too behind the children. They get a robe for the parade and a light saber they get to keep.

Leslie....what a great opportunity. Just call Disney direct and find out where and when. "The boys" just can't miss it!!! Here's some pixie dust for ya pixiedust:

Taemom, its easy once you do it. Quick lesson :teacher: Once your pics are on Photobucket.com, you make one left click (on URL) and go to page here on Dis and one right click to paste. That's it!!

My local Hallmark has my cell phone number and they call me any time they get new ones in. :rotfl: :rotfl2: Funny thing is, my DD doesn't like the way the bunnies look on Webkinz, so she said she didn't want one. Good for me! :thumbsup2

I'll be waiting to do the 50's dance too!

I had until the 23rd I think, but payday was today and better to get it out of my hands and have that awesome feeling of paying it off before we would spend it on anything else.

Thanks twob4him! I was clueless, but I finally got it! Sadly, I have no decent quality pix of the whole family within the past 3 yrs :sad2: (I'll fix that this summer)!

Well, a student of mine went to Disney over Spring Break and they did the Princess dinner at Askerhaus and they LOVED IT!!! Said there was Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Ariel and Snow White, Lauren's FAVORITES!!! I checked the menu today and they had spare ribs for Tim stuff I would eat and the kids meals look good, so I cancelled 1900 Park Fare (since we already did this last year and loved it, trying something new) for the 19th and now we'll be at Askerhaus that night for a 6:35 reservation, I told Lauren and she is thrilled!
Anyone been? Did you like it?
I'm sure there will be more changes. The other thing I'm worried about is a friend of mine from work who was there over break said they ate at Wolfgang Puck Cafe and they had bad service due to being on the dining plan, food just o.k. and they sat in plastic chairs, this has me thinking. any thoughts anyone??

Hi Lesley! I love your trip reports! I am paniking about the June crowds however! I pulled the kids out of school last year in Sept and did free dining, but i decided to go this year June 2-9. We are big Star Wars fans also! But i am worried about the crowd levels and am scared i am making a June mistake. can you please give me some info on the crowds for early June? I also want to add that we are doing Princess storybook dining also at the Akershus but we have elected to do the breakfast instead of the dinner. Please help with some info, thanks! Paige:confused3

Have a good touring plan in mind, your spray fans and poncho's and you will be fine. We've gone 3 June's in a row and done fine with TGM's best days, fast passes and his touring plans, it REALLY helps. Actually I used TGM to help plan a friends trip this past week, helped her with touring, etc for her Spring Break trip and she came back so thrilled saying everyone was complaining due to crowds and they never waited 10 min. for anything. You will have fun, don't worry!!!!
Lesley

I feel a little at ease now. I think i may check into TGM.We had such a great time in Sept last year. My DD is having academic problems this year ,4th grade and may need summer school ,so i feel as though i shouldn't take her out next year just for the free dining, so we just went ahead and paid for the dining plan. We loved it so much last year.We stayed at POFQ last year and LOVED IT!!! I tried to get us in there for June through AAA and they didnt have a magic momment rate left for it so we are going to try Coronado springs this year. It looks great. Your children will love the sea serpent pool at POFQ. We are dining at 1900 park fare for dinner this year. Did you love it when ya'll did it last year? We are trying some new things this time around! It's right around the corner, i just can't wait! I went so Disney crazy that i had a mickey tatoo put on my leg! HAHA!LOVE IT! I will try to figure out how to load up a pic of it for you!:wizard: How do you put in pictures, i can't figure it out???:confused3

I just can't say enough about TGM, I love it and it really helps us every year. I can't tell you how many times last year during our trip we'd look at eachother and say "Thank you Mike!!!" Glad yo loved POFQ, I'm getting so excited to try it. 1900 Park Fare was one of our best meals last year, the buffet was SOOOO good and we aren't buffet people, there are chefs preparing fresh stuff right there like awesome pasta dishes, etc. The character interaction was awesome, if you look at my trip report from last June I have good pics on there with the kids and characters and a detailed review of it. Wow, a Disney tattoo, now you have me thinking:rolleyes1 For the pictures I use photo bucket, it took me forever to figure it out but now that I have the hang of it it is easy.
Lesley

princess: We are also dining with the princesses on Sat 24th! Can't wait!

First of all, your pictures of the beach looked like so much fun! I wish I was there now...not in SNOW in April! :headache:

We have eaten Lunch & Dinner at Askerhaus. Both were good, not wowsers meal-wise. BUT the Princess interaction is hands down great! Hands down! My suggestion would be to start eating the cold buffet before you place your order. Both times our main meals came out before we even went to the cold buffet. I had the ribs last time (Jan) and they were fatty. Could have been the cut that day...never know. I have also had the meatloaf concoction...blahk. JMO though. The dessert tray is super yummo! I loved the rice pudding and my DH & DS loved the chocolate dessert.

When you get there the girls can take a picture with Princess Aurora. She spent a good amount of time with our kids. I heard a tip (after I got home) about not buying the photos that they take right there and asking them to add the photos to your photo pass. Cheaper that way. It is a great idea. My DH gave right in when that picture showed up with our DD dressed up as Princess Aurora and Aurora herself...gave like melted butter. You bet he bought that $40 (or something close to that) picture set then and there! :cloud9:

Congrats on paying off the trip:cool1: :cool1: Funny, we had such a cruel twist of fate... The day all of our trip paperwork came in the mail so did our Disney Visa bill!:scared1: Nice huh!

Askerhaus is great. I can't believe that Cinderella was there!! I thought she only ate in her castle.

Here's my SIL and Niece when we were there in February.

You get to meet Belle When you first walk in. Keep your camera handy though, this is one of those photos that they try and sell you during your dinner. They do not put it on your photo pass.
