Another great report - as usual!. I love that you reported the unfriendly tour guide! We encountered a not so Disney CM on our trip and for those few minutes they managed to take a little of the magic away! Thank God for all the other great ones that bring it all back x 10!!

When I read about you packing your bags I felt that same sinking feeling in my stomach that I get that last night before...I'm sure everyone here can appreciate THAT feeling!

Thanks so much for all your wonderful reports - I've gotten lots of ideas / tips to try out. I can't tell you how excited I am for our 10th Anniv. trip next month!!

Can't wait for the finale.....and that great book you are working on!!

OMG what a terrific MK day! Well, after you finished that horrible tour...glad you got in some rides...that was so funny that you were all set to leave and then you went back in...got a dream too!
I noticed in one of the family parade pics a guy that looked familiar from another trip report...he was a dream giver....do you think its the same guy...here is the pic from the other trippie

Anyways....I am so sad this trippie is ending...I have truely enjoyed it from start to finish. Maybe you mentioned it before but do you have another trip in store already? Do you think you would go back in the heat of the summer again? Oh well, thanks again for sharing all the Magic and Dreams...have a Zippidedodah Day!

Great update. Thanks for the info. on the tour too. We're planning on the Family Magic tour in January. I've heard mixed reviews, but we want to try something different.

Back to the Anniversary song--we rented DVC points in January, stayed in a 1 bdrm & LOVED it. When we return this Jan. we're doing the same. Our first Deluxe (non DVC) stay will be in September, so I can't compare that. Renting points (or if you invest) I think makes it affordable to have your cake & eat it too--stay deluxe & stay for a longer time.

The Family magic tour really does look great, definitely more kid friendly, I wanted to do it but it was sold out for our dates. We may rent DVC points, that is a really good idea!

What a great update. You have such a talent for writing.

That is very unfortunate that your tour was so bad but at least Disney made it all good by refunding you your money and giving you those ride vouchers!

Sounds like you had a great day after that though.

That is an adorable picture of Luke and Lauren in the pool. It really shows how much they love each other and that you and Tim are doing a great job raising two wonderful kids.

I hate having to pack our bags at the end of a trip as well but at least you know you will be back!

Can't wait to hear about how your last day at Epcot went.

Awesome TR! I'm a little sad you missed Wishes, but like you said theres always next time. [Not] Looking forward to the end, Looking forward to the next Pre-TR so once again we can take this great journey with you guys begining to end. Also, what a cute dog!

I am sad I missed Wishes too, but it gives me something to look forward to next year. I'll tell Loomis you said he was cute Oh yes, I will definitely have a pre trippie for our June trip!

Lesley, enjoying your report as aways....only sad thing is there's only one left.... Also, I am sorry to hear about your time on the Magical Milestone Tour...after hearing your experience I don't know if DH & I will do it!? How much did it cost anyways?

You'll have to start your pre-trip for next year!!! Look foward to reading and seeing how your final day went!

You are Lauren look soaked on Splash and I bet it felt great in that summer heat!

That pot roast looks sooo yummy! I would love to try POFQ. The Polynesian and WL are also two others I really want to try out.

I am sooo depressed that your TR is almost over! I love reading your report...it really makes me relive all my trips.

Thanks, yeah, I am glad Tim went and told them. Splash did feel great that day, one awesome thing about going in June. That pot roast is yummy! POFQ is great, you should try it and of course I recommend WL, I want to try the Poly someday too!

What a great day you had! (besides the tour ---but HEY you got your money back and a little lagniappe!)

I was thinking of skipping the Jungle Cruise this year. I've gone on it every trip and I just thought it was TOO corny last trip. But after reading this I'm thinking we might go again. I guess it all depends on your guide.

You made me laugh with the tacos thing. I've done that before...not with tacos, but burgers. Oh well, maybe next time.

I LOVE Splash Mountain. If I had to pick a favorite ride, that would be it. Water, cute music, cute animatronics, and a big drop where you get nice and wet, cooling you in that summer heat! It's ALL worth it to me! I even like the queuing(sp?) area.

What Tim said to help Lauren was sweet, and a very smart way of getting her to forget her fear. I like his attitude. I knew you were going to say something about that awful stench! Did the smell "stick with you" the rest of the night?

As always, your pictures were great. I loved reading about the day. Luke and Lauren are just so cute...can I borrow them for my trip? I hope when I have kids they are as cute and sweet as yours. You are very blessed.

You inspired me to write my own pre-trip report. (I even mentioned your name already--hope you don't mind )

Glad that you were able to get your $ back for the tour. So would you recommend the tour if there was a different guide? Are most of the facts things that are mostly already known?

Did Lauren enjoy Stitches Escape? Did she get scared? The chili cheese dog burp is "nasty"

I know that this off the subject but since you are planning a trip in June 2008 do you know when the new rates will be out?

Man oh man Lesley, I love reading your trip report! Seriously, you have a writing gift! I hope that book comes out because I would certainly buy it. I love how Disney made things right on your tour. Not to get free stuff, but so that future people enjoy themselves! I can't believe the trip is almost over... I am bummed!

BTW, I noticed that you are going to Grand Haven this weekend. I love that town. The Michigan side of Lake Michigan is so nice and sandy but still gets great waves. Plus, there's the singing fountain. We had many trips there as kids. We are actually going to be in the same area this week visiting the ILs. Have a great trip!

Leslie I wanted to tell you I remember reading somewhere that you could take a taxi back to your hotel for about $7/8, I would definetly consider that before waiting in that long line. I also did'nt know that you could take a bus from one park to another, I don't know how I missed that, do they have the other park signs at the bus stop. It's always nice to know there are other options. I love your trip report your kids are very cute. Linda
