We are planning a Christmas trip. Are TIKI Torches allowed? I hope so!

We’re already kind-of bumming having to give up the campfire.

Officially, I don't think so. I have, however, seen them used. Perhaps they are a bit more flexible when the weather isn't so dry (which isn't a problem this year!). I've also seen the covered fire pits in use, too.......so ymmv.

No, the TIKI Torches are not allowed. We know some people that were thrown out of the campground for refusing to put the torches out because the bugs were so bad. They had a 3 week reservation and were going to buy 3 PAPs the next morning with reservations for a fishing trip and several PSs in the parks. (This was their first night.) The General Manager of the campground and a couple sheriff deputies "asked" them to leave. They also had a portable fireplace going that they said was really not supposed to be allowed but it was the torches they were really concerned about. FW gave them every chance to comply but for whatever reason they chose to be thrown out.
