Tigger "Punches" Kid in the face..

Poor CM!
It looks like Tigger lost balance by the child pulling his tail or grabbing his arm or something.
What was the dad on! out for everything I agree DOH!

PATHETIC!
From what you can see and dad's reaction they are looking for compensation. This seems to be an accident and I agree with other comments he may have been off balance. I hope we don't get into this culture of suing people for any minor infringement, real or imagined. This is one American tradition we can do without.

I totally agree...the kid definately looks like he's doing something behind Tiggers back and Tigger is trying to stop him and of course these characters can't speak so he has to grab his arm to stop him and accidently catches the kids face. And also they have very limited vision in those costumes.
An unfortunate accident that's been blown up out of all proportion, in my opinion.

I totally agree!

Yes, and guess what will happen next..."Sorry, Ma'am, Mickey is no longer allowed to cuddle your 3 year old daughter......"

Also, if you look at Tigger's right arm just before he stumbles, he looks like he's grabbing the son's arm which has just started to move down.......undoing the zip maybe?

This is exactly what I thought!

HAve watched this a couple of times and I agree that it looks like an accident. I really hope the CM does not lose his job over this :sad2:

I watched this twice and then with out saying what happens DH watched it and we both agree that for one reason or another Tigger seems to loose his balance and the movement was made in an attempt to stop himself falling over - not as a deliberate punch to the boys face, the second time I watched this I paid particular attentiont to the feet and it would appear that he looses his balance thats all.

It is obvious that the Dad is out for what compensation he can get - no consideration for the CM who is likely to be lose his job over something that is clearly an accident.

I too hope that this family have a life time ban from Disney:mad:

People like this family disgust me. They are out to ruin things for everyone else while looking to benefit soley for themselves. It's really obvious that dad's out for money, and it's really sad that he's probably going to get it. I couldn't believe that dad kept whining that Tigger wasn't a man for not coming out to appologize. One, he can't, for legal and other reasons, and you wouldn't recognize him if he could. Two, Tigger is not a man, Tigger is a tigger. :tigger: Duh. ;) Oh it makes me so angry. Especially that it was big enough news for them to show it on our crappy Denver station. Grr. :headache:

I think your all being a bit kind on Tigger here....wasnt it him who was groping women last year ?
Seems like he's a bit out of control.
hehe

I really do feel sorry for the poor CM and his/her family. To me it simply looks like an unfortunate accident and the family is out to get as much compensation/publicity as they can and not thinking about this poor CM who will lose his job!

What with the lady from Ohana's getting "dismissed" and tigger.......who's next? Mickey?

As I said I think it is difficult to be sure. As this is part of an internal investigation I wonder if the outcome will be reported :confused3

Prob my eyes I cant tell whether he lost his balance or was just fooling around for a photo take? Either way an accident to me.

Poor CM.

Just saw the video on Fox and Friends ... they are standing up for Tigger. It was the first time I saw the video and it is extremely apparent that the 14 year old caused Tigger to lose his balance when he put his arm around him. The hosts of the show agreed with this conclusion as well. There is only one thing to saw about the accuser: opportunist!! I am ashamed he is from NH.

Yes, and guess what will happen next..."Sorry, Ma'am, Mickey is no longer allowed to cuddle your 3 year old daughter......"

I really hope it doesn't come to this. These types of altercations are so rare, they shouldn't affect park policy, but you never know.

It truly looks like an accident. Even if he didn't apologize you dont know whats in his head... most likely FEAR!

I really hope this family is reading these posts and doesn't choose to take action. You have an opportunity to silence all of these negative assumptions and show your family's quality.

Totally agree with everybody.

Wouldn't it be great if Disney would just come out and back their staff. Why would anybody prepared to dress up as Tigger punch a kid. Can't understand Disney on this one.

We have just returned from a 10 day break at Saratoga Springs and think the staff do a fab job. It has been sooooo busy. They just keep smiling.

...and has anybody noticed the son "punch" Tigger back at the end of the video?

I noticed this and think Tigger should counter-sue. :rolleyes1
Also, if you look at Tigger's right arm just before he stumbles, he looks like he's grabbing the son's arm which has just started to move down.......undoing the zip maybe?
- Sorry to whoever posted this, but I couldn't get the quote to show properly like it did above!!

I also thought that this boy was definitely doing something behind Tigger's back!!

This is one of those stupid incidents that gets blown all out of proportion.:sad2:

What is the world coming to???

I definitely think it was an accident and in the video of the news interview the boy's 'speech' sounds pretty rehearsed to me!

It definately looks to me as though the guy's doing something behing Tigger's back, possibly undoing some fasteners, and I'd say Tigger's turning his back away from whatever, that kid's doing, I think the punch is just a complete accident, due to restricted vision on Tigger's part and in actual fact if you try it yourself, I just have, imagine someone's tickling you and you try to swing around out of the way, your arm instinctively comes up, well mine does anyway.:)
I'm on Tigger's side.:)
