Tigger bounce area @ Pooh

Anyone know the back story on this part of the Pooh queue? It was closed when we were there in March 2010 shortly after the new queue opened, and I don't think it was ever officially opened as part of the queue. Now it's being removed. Sup with dat? I thought the placement was curious since it was further away from the rest of the queue. I can only surmise that there was some sort of safety issue with kids (young & old) bouncing around the area.

Its a lawsuit waiting to happen. When It was used kids were falling and Disney decided to close it.

I've seen it in the queue before, but not open. Like the person above said, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Yeah, I think it was open only for a few days. There are a few youtubes on it. The imagineers thought it'd be great and kids would bounce on the circles. Well, my 3 year old would bounce on the circles. 10 year olds would jump from circle to circle...

You mean where was it. It's in the process of being removed. If you face the Pooh ride, it was on the far left end towards the Tea Cups (to the left as you entered the standby queue). They had it partially blocked off by walls and potted plants for ~two years before recently starting to remove it.

Amazing how they could figure out how to move a 40 ton tree, but screw this up (and take two years to pull the plug on it).
