Tigger Attacks!!!!

My personal opinion is that this was planned in advance. I believe the kid was coached by the parent to try something with each character until they got a film good enough that they thought they could sue. I also believe this will all come out in the end, as the truth usually does. After all "Tigger" has been found not guilty before. It's no different than the people who stage falls or other mishaps to try to sue stores, hotels, etc. for profit. It's really sad when parents involve their children in this kind of fraud.

I personally think that Tigger should have bounced on the kid. Afterall, that's the wonderful thing about Tiggers! Seriously, this is WAAAAY out of hand - the kid's dad just wants a check or life-time passes to DW.

i can't stand people like this....people who think their child is always the victim. the right thing to do, even if the CM may have inadvertently hit the kid in the face while reacting to whatever was going on behind him (probably the kid doing something he shouldn't be), was check to see if the kid was okay and go on with your life. grow up! it's not that big of a deal. way to teach your kid to sweat the small stuff.

maybe i'm being too harsh, but i'm a court reporter and see crap like this in court all the time....stuff that clogs up the legal system that should have never been brought to court anyway. people need to get a life.

I had read on another post that a local FL TV station, early on, had an extended unedited version of the families video that had the father telling the kid to leave Tigger alone before the incident occured.

Maybe this family should be made into an example for insurance fraud.

Not sure whether you heard about these:

1. The person who came out of a store, saw a bus accident, boarded the bus, and sued the bus company for whiplash injury.

2. The person who sued Disney for eardrum damage as the hydrolator (tm) took her deep down below to Sea Base Alpha. It was revealed that the distance down was measured in microns as opposed to fathoms. (Epcot's The Living Seas)

it also reminds me of the person that sued mcdonald's because their food made him fat. duh!!!!! instead of suing the parents should've told the kid to learn a lesson from the incident: mess with the wrong person and you're going to get smacked in the face!

A few years back, I was talking to a warranty manager for Centex homes and he told me this story:

During the plumbling contruction phase of her new home being built, a woman asked the building manager not to put caulk around the base of the unit where the handle is that turns the water off and on in her shower. He explained to her that it was code and they are required to do it for the house to pass inspection. After closing, she went in with a razor blade and while removing it, sliced her finger open real good. She sued Centex Homes for some ridiculous $750,000 and won.

The construction manager for my house told me that they were sued in 2005 by a man breaking in and stealing copper from homes that were in the process of being built. He told me the guy fell down the stairs in a one of the homes he was stealing from and broke his arm and leg. He sued the home builders and won.

What is the heck is wrong with people?

Holy cow! My parents lied to me!! They told me crime doesn't pay. Now can I sue them for the possible lost income from fake lawsuits?

What a joke this Tigger lawsuit is, the dad even said his first reaction was to ask his KID what HE did to Tigger....hello, instinct of a parent. I think after viewing the tape he saw the dollar signs. If his son really did nothing wrong why can't the public see the WHOLE tape? Why do we only get to see his son getting hit?

I do have to say I laugh and the 'poor' kid everytime I watch it! I just hope Tigger is back when we go on the 26th, I just love Tigger!!!

If you haven't heard by now,,,it's all over the news and this board,,,Tigger was provoked and attacked a kid , not a child.

This kid was a punk who stuck his hand in the tigger costume and deserved what he got, whacked by a provoked Tigger.

Let's keep this thread going to show our support for the CM that was in the Tigger costume that day, and tell the father what a schmuck he is trying to suck money for something his kid is responsilbe for, and did do.

I suport Tigger (CM) keep bumping this thread to show your support!

I checked out the video again. It appears that the kid is indeed doing something behind Tiggers back and Tiggers response is to hold on to the kid with his right arm to stop him. The "punch" from Tigger's big cushioned hand doesn't even move the kids glasses.

Also notice how they cleaned the kid up for the post incident interview. No more chains or gloves.
