TigerCheer2009's Lose 30 and Not Gain It Back Plan! (Add comments please!! Welcome!)

Hey, don't worry, I'm still watching :3dglasses
Just curious, is it the Order of the Arrow or the Arrow of Light? both are very cool, Arrow of Light is the highest award of cub scouts, Order of the Arrow is a "Brotherhood of Honored Campers" in Boy Scouts. I was a Brotherhood member and a Chapter Chief back in the day :teeth: .
Hey, DRINK YOUR WATER!!! ITS GOOOOOD!!
I always think of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Give It Away, line says: Ya do a little dance and then ya drink a little watah.
ARRRRR! pirate:

Hey DisDon! Glad you're back! He's getting Order of the Arrow...only eleven! I think he's whichever comes after first class (tenderfoot, third class, second class, first class, I'm drawing a blank, blank, blankety blank, blank, something else, Eagle! At least I hope!) My uncle was in the Order of The Arrow Dance Troupe. Or so he says anyway...

I will drink my water (yes, daddy), but I want to tell you all my wonderful lunch first.

L: Spaghetti Sauce with Sausage (6, 3 points=1/2 cup), 8 ounces 1% milk (1)

And because my body is crying out for it: 24 ounces of water are being "dranken" right as I type.

Thanks for popping in!

Glad to hear that you had fun on your trip. Sounds like VBS is keeping you busy as well. All in all, you look like you are doing good. :banana:

It is amazing how little we eat when we are active. Glad to hear that your band teacher is still with the school and wasn't forced somewhere else. Remember, he did great teaching band, so I am sure he will make some positive changes in the school.

Keep up the great work and try not to let those kiddies drive you nuts! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Hey all! I had a major splurge day. I guess it was one of those Instinct Takes Over Days...which means since today is a BRAND NEW DAY I can be back OP.

D: Wendy's Classic Double w/Cheese (9.5), 5 fries (half fell on the floor! God's way of portion control), 6 pieces assored fruit chunks from the fruit bowl (2), 10 sips watered down Diet Coke.

That splurge was not actually that bad, really. It just looks worse when you've consumed it! 1.5 FPS

So plan for today is:
Stay OP, exercise, drink my water, finish those Bible School presents, and get my behind to the library.

The Order of the Arrow ceremony (brother is First Class, not Star or w/e) was long, boring and silent. It did involve a little hike through the woods though, so I earned one AP for that.

And HI!!!!! to Lesli! Thanks! It is amazing. And I swear, I'm bringing my whistle today. Must dash though. I have to go and re-move my classroom again.... :sad2:

You have done so fantastic on WISH with 23 lbs lost. Just keep it up, as you said, your "splurge" was not as bad as it could have been. We have to live in the real world and get used to it, and that includes Wendys occasionally! ;)

Tigercheer, it's OK to splurge, and believe me, your splurge wasn't as bad as you think! Keep up that positive attitude and you will have no problems getting back on track today!

Boring?!?!? Just kidding, I remember that, be vewy qwiet, hunting wabbits. Tell him congrats from me!
Ha, you're splurge would be a good day for me :earseek: Don't sweat it, just go sweat instead :earboy2:
Bananas for you too!
:banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:

Hiya Tiger!

I'm finally all caught up now that my life is slowing down a bit. You've been doing a great job and your attitude is so upbeat and inspriring. Enjoy your work with VBS and hang in there with your band director. I went through the exact same thing with mine in HS when my band director quit and moved up to principal of our jr. high. Just be glad you will at least get to see him every day because he is still principal at your school and didn't go somewhere else.

DH was Order of the Arrow too. He told me the ceremony is very long. Good for you for making it through without napping!

Keep on losing!

Hey everybody!!! Update: I think I got a glimpse of the "new" band director. He doesn't have movie star looks, but neither does K. Go figure!

B: last of the Panera blueberry bagels (6), apple (1), 1/2 glass sprite (1)
L: baked potato w.cheese (1.5), Wendy's Fruit Cup (2), Ham Lean Pocket (5), celery and garlic dressing (1)

17.5 points used. 6.5 points left. Water: 12 ounces. Exercise: 15 minutes of cheerleading/dancing. Yay! I'm going to do my Firm workouts. 25 minutes of dodging waterballoons and running as not to get the camera drenched.

There was a wonderful little (actually: very large and kinda scary) thunderstorm as everyone was leaving today. Some kids got scared. I don't want tomorrow to come. As annoying as my kiddos have been, I love 'em (in a HYPOTHETICAL way) all the same. But they drink too much juice. We had to add a dance break in the middle of one of our songs to accomodate the wiggles. Good times...good times.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
pirate: Twinks: yep! "Tomorrow's another day...and I am not afraid! So bring on the rain!"-JoDee Messina...in the most literal sense! Thanks for poppin' in.
:p Tracy: Did you get a big rainstorm around noon today? We did. A few littlies were in absolute tears. I felt so bad. :guilty: I couldn't exactly STOP that big thundershower. Thanks for the positive wishes. Positive thoughts to you!
:crazy: calena/WISHsis: Thanks for the positive words! There is the real world and it isn't always going to mold to accommodate me. I gotta keep on keepin' on. :teeth:
:wave: LovinAZ: Welcome to my journal! Nice to have you here! Thanks for coming...sit down and stay awhile! Thanks for the words of encouragement.
:flower: DisDon: Really? My splurge=good day for you? Whoa. I'm gonna go sweat it off as soon as I finish talking to all my wonderful WISH friends. Thanks for poppin' in! SILENCE IS REVERENT (yeah...but vewy vewy boring...I about blew a gasket not talking!)
:cloud9: Shauna!!!!! Welcome back! You were missed like crazy! Good for you!!! :goodvibes I am glad. I would have taken a nap, but it was buggy and chilly and not very good sleeping weather. Plus it was rainy!!! Thanks for coming and spreading positivity!
More news: I tried on the cheerleading skirt like it was made for. Whoa. Very very loose!!!!!!!!!! Yay! I love it! That made all of this seem real! My friends are noticing (after I tell them!). We are also ordering camp uniforms. We're getting these fitted tees that say Dottie's Cheerleading Shop, plus Soffe shorts. (Extra money in the budget. Who knew!) We are getting school tees, and maybe sweat outfits...and hobo gloves (fingerless...I'm so using mine for marching band)...and ear warmers. I'm so jazzed! Can't ya tell?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hugs, positive thoughts and pixie dust headed your way!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh...wait! Dinner: Probably a frozen chicken/broccoli/cheese stuffed thing (6) and a baked potato (1). Not too bad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bye!

Dinner was as follows: chicken-cheddar-broccoli cordon bleu (6), baked potato (1), 4 bites salad (0), 1 tomato (0), 2 slices whole wheat bread (2)

2.5 FP's used.

6 minute FIRM workout, 24 minutes of LHJ Total Body Fitness. 24 ounces water

Jen,
Thanks for stopping by my journal! I really appreciate your support. Here is my cheer:
Look at Jen!
She's a 10!
:)
Keep working hard!

Lisa

Hi Lisa! Welcome to my journal! I'm lovin' the cheer. Thanks...sit back and stay awhile! You're welcome!

It was the last day of VBS. I made these awesome nametags for them, and gave them bottles of bubbles. I cried at the last song. It was very sad because they were a very awesome crew. But I was happy because they got on my nerves. A double edged sword, if you will.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
B: 1 cup cereal (4)
L: one hotdog (4)
NO SPRITE or SPECIAL CUPCAKES CONSUMED!!! They were dirt n worms cupcakes, though.
S: ???
D: Will be a Tango Chicken Sandwich (7), fresh fruit (2) and Berry Lemon Cheesecake (5)
I have to remember to go down to 22 points!!!! And also remember that my scale is up (like if someone weighs 185 on the scale, it's actually 182) and botched by 3.
Water: 8 ounces.
Exercise: 20 minutes kickball. We used a big giant bounce ball and it was bigger than a few of the kids!!!! Going at the proper speed, it could have beheaded some of them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Adieu! Have a wonderful day!

Adieu! Have a wonderful day!

TigerCheer, I could NOT stop laughing when I read that! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :laughing: I think it might be because last year when DD was barely 5, she got hit with one of those big balls and it knocked her down (she wasn't hurt!). It looked so comical, I would start laughing everytime the replay went through my head!

Look at you go on your July exercise challenge! Excellent, keep it up! I will ride Raptor for you next week. And I am going to take your advice about one splurge food - I hope they have caramel apples w/nuts. I LOVE those things, especially when they are about 5 lbs. ;)

Have a wonderful 4th and I'll catch up with you when I get back!!

Hey Amy!!!! It was pretty funny. I burst out laughing.

Also, the girls team (I was hand chosen by the guys...go figure.) was schooling us pretty badly. We had a little boy run off crying. We don't know why. I just sat outside and sang silly songs to "myself" until he felt better. :confused3 .

Thanks!!!! Enjoy your caramel apple (try the saltwater taffy!)! And please...go on the Raptor as many times as time will allow. You can do this...this whole moderation thing. If you eat at Midway Market, it's a HUGE buffet...there are BOUND to be healthy choices. And also, if you check out the Cedar Point website, you can look for healthy choices under Special Diets I think. Plus the food is yumscrumptious anywhere!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had a snack. I knew I was truly hungry because I exercised before, and drank 48 ounces of water just to make sure. After all I could only have one measly hotdog!
Snack: 2 PB tortillas with chopped apple. (4)
Exercise: 15 minutes exercise (breakdown: 2 of LHJ Plan, 8 of the 5 day FIRM, 4 misc., 1 of yoga so far!!!) As it is WAY too hot to go out. Will finish my yoga (asana poses...like table, cat and dog) in a few.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Positive thoughts and lots a' "watah" to all!

5 actual minutes yoga!

My thoughts on yoga: Very calming, but kind of stupid. For the "caterpillar", you do the yoga posture, rise to "dog", then exhale to "table". It sounds like you're running through a hose! Rise to the dog...exhale at the table. Position your tailbone to align with your spine, imagine your belly button is glued to your spine. Good heavens-it makes me feel like a Picasso original!

It was okay-I'd rather dance. But trying it was fun! I don't think I did ANY of it right, judging by my cats (the "superiors" at my house).

I'm kinda scared about stepping on the scale tomorrow. Dinner was OP, except for 5 yummy bites linguini. Yum!

Hey all. I weighed in this AM. I was kinda scared to, but I did it. From my last weigh in at 176, I am now at 180. It's only a number. But that's okay! I have a serious game plan now.

:flower: Drinking more water
:Pinkbounc "Food" lines-one pass and you're done
:cheer2: Changing up my exercise (I'm thinkin' salsa dancing!!!)
:banana: If you're going to have bites of someone else's food, stop after the first or second.
:cloud9: Live by the "no snacks after 7" rule
:sunny: Snacks: I should have a protein and a fruit and back off of the carbs
:grouphug: Eat a better breakfast...as in I can have a cup of cereal (2), but I need something with protein so I don't start snacking as soon as one or one and one half hours pass.
::MickeyMo One small treat everyday

New week. I can do this. I just need to get my head on straight, realign the stars, do whatever it takes. I've done it before, I can do it again, I'm gonna do it again!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
B: 2 cups cereal (4)
You can do it! you're so close to your goal!!!! have a fun weekend... and remember tomorrow is a brand new day!
