TigerCheer2009's Lose 30 and Not Gain It Back Plan! (Add comments please!! Welcome!)

Thanks, Chris. I will tell her. Prayers are appreciated. She goes back in for I believe her six-months-since checkup in Sept. I've been on there too...I kinda feel out of place on there though. It was really hard though. She had to miss my first few rounds of marching band, but she got to see us win at contest for Small Marching Band in Whitehouse, OH.

I sometimes feel out of place on there too but I know that it helps me, especially to read about their experiences of what they found before they got diagnosed - as soon as my mom was diagnosed it turned in to something that was not only for the rest of her life but the rest of my life as well. It helps me to stay in tuned with my body some. Glad she got to see the best part of your marching band!!!!

I haven't checked in there in quite a while...it did help...maybe I'll go back...should be interesting.

You and me both!

Have an awesome night...2 more play showings and we're done! :O)

Thanks for the good wishes.

D: 1.5 mugs tomato soup (3), two slices toast 1 tsp butter (5)
PostDinner: F&W Salad, fries (10) <---needed as dinner was light, a treat!

32 POINTS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Holy COW! That has got to stop here. Right now!

I was NOT like a 150's person when I overate my points by 10 (6 actualy...4 flex points not used).

I was like a 150's person when I didn't eat snacks at the movie or at the play, I drank my water.

I need to exercise...or do something! This can go on no longer!!!! Tomorrow will be mucho grande better...yep I'm sure of it.

Hi Jen!

I am very sorry to hear that your mom had breast cancer but I am glad to hear that she has done so well! Of course, I am not at all surprised to read how supportive you are!!! :goodvibes My mom had ovarian cancer when I was very young but she is coming up on 20 years cancer free very soon!

I hope that you have a better "150 day" point wise tomorrow but good job surviving the movies snack free!! (Had to edit, I forgot the verb in that sentence! hehe)

Have a great night!
Mike :goodvibes

Awwww...thanks, Mike. Sometimes, being a caregiver is very hard to do because you can't do anything...it's hard to be on the sidelines instead of on the field. Congratulations to your mother, though!!! That is such a milestone :flower2: !

I am going to have a better 150 day tomorrow. I know this because A) I am going to be active a lot, B) I don't eat much when I'm active, C) I drink more water!!! How's the housing sitch going? Is everyone getting rooms? (Where exactly is the college? I know RI...but if you don't feel comfy saying the name, I am in no way gonna pressure you.) I am SO gonna kick some major weight loss bum tomorrow! I am gonna haul it and march it across the field.

**MY tummy hurts. I should NOT have had those french fries...gug. And also ack. I better get to bed. Band camp starts 9 am tomorrow!

Holy COW. Hotter than the oven in Satan's kitchen today. And we had band camp. I sweated forever...marching, drills, and about a billion bottles water drank (2 actually), then playing. And it storms.

And there's this little evil corner in me that's very frustrated with how I did today...my evil squad leader kept saying I wasn't good enough, too fast, too slow, adding things, not utilizing things. I can't believe I actually started listening to it. You know what they say: hear it long enough and you start thinking that good. She made me feel like every mistake was personally MY fault. I left my flipfolder at home and she Xeroxed some music especially for me. I felt bad, but she made me feel even worse.

And people in my squad seem to think that I have the keys to the solution of every problem in the world. Basically a bunch of negativity. If you're not going to put forth the effort to at least TRY then why am I putting forth effort to teach if you're gonna do nothing and complain nobody helps you?? I can only do so much. Realize: I am not Supergirl...I can't do everything. Please don't think I can...my energy and "powers", whatever you say, aren't limitless. Learn to do things yourself or just don't ask me! Rant over!

We do this really awesome Napoleon Dynamite-esque dance in the middle of Rock N Roll All Night...I'm so tired. Haven't learned that dance yet...I'm psyched.

I'm ranting because I can't just have a spaz attack at band camp and feeling this way makes me wanna eat crazily even though I really am hungry. Sorry.

WOW - glad you had someplace to come and vent. Keep on venting if you need to.

You did good with your food today but if it's that hot, you need to drink more water. I have a feeling you sweated more than you took in so drink, drink, drink!!!!!

Good luck tomorrow

Keep on
Chris

Thanks, Chris. It's just certain people are SO self-centered sometimes and do absolutely nothing to help themselves!!!!...AAGGH!

Thanks for listening and responding. I feel like I'm ready to go  . I appreciate it. I've definitely calmed down now.

I'm going to drink more water now...and try to take a nap before the last play performance.

Chris, I appreciate it! :grouphug:

Snack pre-play=tuna sandwich on a Hunny Bun (4 total), apple (1)
Dinner: ??????????????

Hey Jen!!!

Vent away!! That's why we're here!!!
So sorry to hear about the stresses of band camp and i hope that things get better!
I hope the last performance of the play goes well tonight!!!
I have to ask what a "Hunny Bun" is because around here that would be a sugary glazed cinnamon roll type thing... not something I would put tuna on! hehe

Keep that water going and smile at all the calories your being out in the heat are burning off!!!
Have agreat night!
Mike :goodvibes

Hey Mike...thanks and me too! I feel so much better! We are supposed to bring an old sock with us tomorrow...hmm.

Hunny Buns are a hamburger bun (I guess) with honey in it. Hunny Buns are the actual brand name. I thought that exact same thought too...until we were putting hamburgers on them.

I drank another 2 bottles of water...and I will remember that all of this exercise is doing me well in two ways!

You too!

Dinner will be spaghetti with meat sauce (7), maybe some garlic bread.

We performed at the retirement village about 3 minutes away. Some people actually fell asleep, but they all loved it! I got to pass out ornaments at the end. I felt really good about myself that I was able to make people smile.

I acted like a 150's person all the way through today :goodvibes !
I:
:sunny: drank my water
:sunny: made healthy choices
:sunny: did NOT resort to snacking when I felt down
:sunny: exercised like crazy
:sunny: did something good for me!

YESSSSSS!

Ahhh! I was hoping that was what a Hunny Bun was because I am not sure if I could get past the idea of you eating Tuna on a Sticky Bun! hehe! :goodvibes

Congrats on having such a great day! Here's to tomorrow!!!
Mike :sunny:

Hey Jen,

Hope you are feeling better after that band practice episode. I know the feeling when people choose to use you as a punching bag. Terrible, terrible.

You have had a lot of exercise. wow 4 hours marching. Cool.

My cat sends her love and her licks back to your cats. She is up and starting to walks, which means the fungal leisons on her nerves near her spine are starting to shrink. She will be back in action soon so let your cats know that they can hang out with the only kitty club kid in Kentuky!!!

Hiya Jen! Thanks for stopping by my journal with lots of encouragement!

I skimmed back a little ways into your journal - looks like you're doing weight watchers. I attempted that back in the day, but didn't have great luck. It was more from me than the diet, though. :rolleyes1

Keep it up and good luck getting those points under control. :earsboy: Well all have an off day now and then... Yesterday it was cake for me, fries for you!

Good job on the choices you made yesterday and accomplishing something good for yourself!!!! BRAVO

Keep on
Chris

Purrrrfecta-Thanks! Glad to hear. I will tell them.

Laur- You're welcome and thanks.

Thanks Chris.

Band camp is gradually getting better...there's a rumor on the WPASADI boards that concerns me. If you wanna hear more, PM me. I'm fuming, positively. But I'm scared too.

B: same as yesterday
L: ham sandwich on a bun (5, had cheese) carrots (0)

4 bottles water. I am so mad I am not using smiles.

Mike-you are such an awesome WISHbro!!!!! Know that and I will reply to your PM in a few.

Band camp is gradually getting better. I think Evil Squad Leader had a better sleep last night...or maybe TOM was there or something? It's a lot of work, but the show is shaping up to be awesome. We have a dance off instead of the ND dance...we get to do some really awesome stuff.

Starting to memorize Boheme. It was also uniform fitting day. I am proud to say I do not have the ELEPANTS (band pants) anymore!!!! (They were really huge...I could hold them about 3 inches away from me and they could give homeless people a nice place to rest...kiddin'!)...the distance from me to the pants front was about 5 more inches!!!!!!!!!!!! GASPY SHOCK and cheers!

I am so proud of my day yesterday that I had a repeat! Yep, it's true-150's day times 2! :)

I so totally acted like a 150's person today:
:sunny: exercised like crazy
:sunny: drank 4 bottles of water
:sunny: no more elepants!!! YESSSS I am free of them...
:sunny: great marching-I got lotsa compliments on my performance today
:sunny: I made healthy food choices
:sunny: stayed within points range today...even with a McyD's treat!!!! GASPY SHOCKEROONIES! just kidding you

Breakfast points=5.5, eggy with ham (1.5), 1 cup cereal (2), 8 ounces OJ (2)

Dinner/Snackish type thing: apple, F& Walnut salad (2.5, no yogurt), and a McValu fries (7)

Meat? Gonna have some. I promise. Maybe a cheese stick...yummers.

The DIS boards are so awesome...supportive...and kick bum!!!

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! Keep going and soon you'll be the biggest loser I know, but I'll still love you :earboy2:
