I went to dinner at Tiffins this trip and everyone found everything incredibly salty and the portions very small for the amount of money being paid. We went to Tiffins on our prior trip and loved it however it seems the menu has changed since last time. Has anyone else had a similar experience at Tiffins recently?

Yes with the portions being very very very small. Only time in my life I ate at a restaurant and went straight to another restaurant when I got done eating at a restaurant. The food was great just extremely small. Started a thread about this in June. Someone told me tiffins means a light meal. I didn't know that. I looked it up and tiffins does mean a light meal.

We've eaten at Tiffins multiple times over multiple trips including the most recent this month. We've loved the food each time, and find the portions perfect -- especially for lunch. I think most restaurant portions -- not just in WDW but in this country -- are too large.

I don't correlate portion size and cost -- more like quality and cost. And in that sense, I certainly don't think Tiffins is overpriced.

I agree with you here. I haven't eaten there however the portions I have seen in dining reports look to be true portion sizes, not the portion size you would normally get at a restaurant.

We had dinner at Tiffins on Aug. 8 (third time we've eaten there) and thought the portions were "just right" - not too big, not too small. Looking forward to bringing DD & DSiL for their first meal there this coming November.

OP, I've been three times in the last year - it's pretty much currently my favorite theme park meal option by far. We like/appreciate the portion sizes. But, we did have one meal that sounds a lot like what your describe. The menu at the time had recently been tweaked a bit as well and both of our main entrees - while interesting - were just off for us. We're all for adventurous flavors and foods, but it was almost like the chef was trying 'too hard' to create something different/foodie that day.

But, it wasn't anything a nice post-meal beverage on the patio at Nomad Lounge next door didn't make us quickly forget. :-)
