Don't see much about it on here, and wondering about those who have experienced it. I just watched a DISUnplugged review with Pete and Oliver, and they raved about how good it is.

I would love to hear more experiences. I'm thinking an evening at AK may be in order next December to see Rivers of Light (hopefully, lol) and Pandora. I figured a good dinner while there would be nice.

I really enjoyed my dinner there last summer!!!! Right now it is suffering from a poor location. It is right near what will be the entrance to Pandora. So I think a lot of people pass right by it without realizing it is there.

My sister and I ate there in September and loved it. We both had the Waygu beef.

Also, the passionfruit vanilla iced tea was delightful and they serve it with a little cup of vanilla simple syrup. I was in love.

We really enjoyed our experience (June 2016). Considering it had just opened, I found the service to be excellent and orders very well done. I wasn't sure if I'd encounter a restaurant that "wasn't ready" and I'm happy to share it was just wonderful. Definitely lives up to the signature rating, and it recently became covered under Tables in Wonderland.
I would feel comfortable trying any dish, and feel it would be prepared well. I base this on the dishes we tried, as well as the experiences of the diners near us. Since it was opening week, we were quite chatty with one another. Even had a podcaster (some other podcast, not DIS) taking pictures of dishes near him. He was even more excited than we were. heh.

On our upcoming trip, we're going back to Tiffins, and may I also suggest… if you're considering Tiffins… that you also consider Nomad lounge. It's an oasis away from the hustle and bustle. I love the laid back decor and comfortable seating. Plus the drink menu is delicious. Some drink are exclusive to Nomad lounge.

Where ever you go, I hope you enjoy your time at AK!

Also LOVED the Nomad Lounge, A+ all around. We got the bread service and it was delicious!!

Good info about Nomad lounge. I'm very interested in the lounges in general at WDW. My folks aren't big eaters and do enjoy a drink now and then. They might like this just as well as the full restaurant. I always worry about the lounges being too crowded and not being able to get a spot when we want, then being out of luck if we don't have an ADR for the main restaurant.

Something to ponder!

Glad to see the favorable reviews of Tiffins. My father has yet to step foot in Animal Kingdom, but I'm hoping the promise of some good food and the Rivers of Light show will convince him to come see it. I think it's such a pretty park.

We ate there in Nov. Enjoyed it a lot. Not crowded......like mentioned, a bit out of the way.

We just ate there yesterday. We canceled sanaa and went to tiffins instead to save travel time. It has been our best meal yet! We both the got the waygu beef and it was amazing! My mom loved the bread service and our sever was fantastic!

While we initially left tiffins off our list, it's first on the list to repeat now.

We have the dxddp.

We went in October and weren't impressed. I had the lamb and the meet was good but no special flavour to the spice rub. Also the waiter was a bit forced-nice in my opinion. We just wished we tried Jiko or Sanaa instead. I just couldn't find anything unique about the food at Tiffins, it seemed to similar to the California Grill, but Cali Grill did it better.

I would say it is one of the best restaurants on property. Definitely in the top 5 at least.

Right now because of its location I feel like a lot of people pass it without even knowing its there. So right now you can have a nice quiet relaxing meal in there. Which is fine by me haha

We went there the beginning of June right after they opened up and were very impressed with Tiffins. The service was outstanding. The bread they served was out of this world. I braved it and had the octopus appetizer and it was simply fantastic. The Waygu strip loin with the braised short rib was excellent. And what more could I say about the South American Chocolate Ganache; the presentation was so incredible it was a shame to eat it, which was awesome as well. Tiffins is now one of my top 5 signature restaurants I have dined at. No doubt, I will return when we go back again.

We dined in the Safari room under the Baobab tree 1.5 weeks ago. The lobster curry soup was DELICIOUS and the chermoula rubbed chicken was good - not amazing but good. Their drinks and wines look amazing (I abstained, I'm pregnant) but I've already made an ADR for our next trip as I know my DH will absolutely love their menu. DD loved their chicken and purple Peruvian potatoes. Service was good and ambiance fantastic! I also tried my friend's black eyed pea fritters and loved them! Next time I might do a few apps and save room for dessert :-D

I don't know why I took a photo in the bathroom lol

Nice presentation of the soup

The chicken - after the soup and the black eyed pea fritters, I felt this fell a little flat - but it was still very good, well cooked, just didn't POP with flavor like the others.

After dinner we took a quick peek at the other rooms.

Ate there in early July and enjoyed it quite a bit. Had the Wagyu beef and it was outstanding. I have notes somewhere on what everyone else ate, but not with me.

Wow! I think I'm going to have to work this in somewhere!

Wasn't there talk of a package deal for Rivers of Light and Tiffins? Or did I make that up? It's been hard to keep track thanks to RoL's delay.

Okay so DS is at Tiffins today, ate lunch, sent me a ton of photos and his final comment was "Tiffins has ruined me mother"............

One photo he sent:

Tiffins was the best meal we had last week, and we had soem fabulous meals! I second that you take time to visit Nomads Lounge. I suggest that you let your server help you with teh choices, this staff is knowledgeable and they truly are passionate about the restaurant and about your experience.

Totally agree. Our server was awesome, asked us what kind of drinks we normally like and helped us select our choices. They described them really well and we each tried more than one and was not disappointed.

Yes that's my hope for next year, to get a RoL package, assuming it's open by June...or October...lol

I've read Tiffins, Tusker House and then a Flame Tree BBQ QS RoL pacakges but who knows!

I ate at Tiffins for lunch last week and the food was amazing!! Our favorite meal of the trip. The artwork on the walls is really cool too. We did the Taste of Tiffins where you could pick two small plates, which was a great way to try different things. Our favorites were the short rib and the lobster popcorn soup. Also the iced tea is really good. They have a homemade vanilla bean simple syrup to sweeten it that is absolutely delicious! And as goofy4prez said, the bread is also very yummy!
