We have decided to go with Tiffany Towncar( 4 passenger towncar) for our next two trips to WDW. We like the 20 min. grocery stop and the free car seat for our DS. We also like the price. So with that I'd like to know what everyone else thinks abou TT ...any experiences?

My family has always been very happy with the service we have recieved from Tiffany's. We have used them 5 times now, and I have 2 trips this year and plan to use them.:)

Used them once before. Excellent service. Using them again this trip.

One thing that bothers me about TT is that they want you to call the day before to confirm. What happens if you forget to call? I notice some of the others advertise that they call you. One more thing. I had booked TT one way from CSR to the airport and got bumped to AKl so I e-mailed TT with the info twice and never received a reply so I had to call them. I mentioned the two e-mails but didn't get an answer. That's two things, isn't it.

Loved them last month. Ask for Larry, he is a great driver and a real gentleman, helps with everything and tries to make you very happy. He also gives you a discount card to use at Cash and Carry. We'll be using them next year!

Hi Kume,:wave2:
In all my trips with Tiffany's, I never called them to comfirm the night before (although they did ask me to) I was just to busy having fun. Anyway, they were always there to pick me up as scheduled 5-15 mins. early.

:) We use them and had a wonderful ride and stop at the grocery store. They are friendly and know a lot about disney. We received alot of info from our driver. We are using them again in November.

We have used them several times and always been completely satisfied.

We love Tiffany and Berkely is our favorite driver. We will use them for our trip in april, so I guess I better get busy and book it up. This will be the 1st time I will ask for a grocery stop. I am only getting drinks, soda and maybe banannas. I just dont feel like making mug runs from the swan over to the dolphin. It will satisfy the ds soda fix along with the gatorade and koolaide I always make in the room. Its tifffany all the way for us. We get the van for our family of 5.

One question. I just talked with someone at Tiffany and they told me they only have booster seats, no regular car seats. I was sad because we have always used (and loved) Tiffany before, but we have a baby now so we need a car seat. Anybody know the real scoop here?

I've been trying to make a reservation with Tiffany for a week and so far, no response. I entered the reservation form on Saturday, then emailed them on Wednesday and still no response. I'm fixing to call them at lunch today and see what the heck is going on!

We've used Tiffany before and they were great. I'm hoping this is just some kind of glitch.

I have used Tiffany Towncar, and have always been quite pleased with their service. The drivers are very nice, and have always been waiting for me at both the airport and the resort.

The only miniscule problem I've ever had with them is one time the driver took me to a dumpy little supermarket. I don't even think it had a name. It just said "Supermarket." The supermarket was very small, not particularly clean, and had a small selection of items. Now, I always ask before we stop at a grocery store and make sure they stop at either Albertson's or Publix.

We've used TT several times in the past and we love them. As to the car seat issue. I don't want to get 'flamed' here, but don't you fly using a car seat? I've always wondered how most people deal with this. I didn't really start traveling with my dd until she was 4 and didn't need one. But I do see a lot of people flying and holding their little ones. Man, that would tire me out. And I'd be worried constantly that we'd hit an air pocket and my child would go up and I wouldn't!! Just wondering, not looking to start any trouble:D

When I booked online I got an email confirmation within minutes. In the comments box at the end I wrote I would need to be picked up at a different hotel then where I was dropped off at. And I did ask for a grocery stop.
I called them about 1 week later and made sure that the pickup was recorded at different hotel and she repeated to me the whole reservation.
She knew name, date and time of flight with flight number and where we were going and also repeated the trip back to MCO info. I am feeling pretty good about this. I will not be left standing at the curb....
I did ask which grocery store they usually stop at and she said Publix. I'm going to POP Century so I don't know if you were going to a different hotel your grocery stop would be different.

Just if we good just get some AP discounts for the room I'd be a happy camper.

Goofy4tink: We don't need to have our son sit in a carseat on the plane as he will be three and he is big for his age in the first place. However he does need one for ground transportation such as the towncar. If we had used Mears I was told that no car seat would ne needed. I guess that is our reasoning as to why a car seat is needed from the TT service.

Tiffiany is also much cheaper than Mears. Our first trip I wasn't aware of the alternatives and chose Mears on the recommendation of the Disney CRO agent. It was about $140 rt. Tiffiany was $70 rt (that was just a month ago, Jan. 04). Also, they have an online coupon for $5 off. The same level of quality and service as Mears.

:( This is overwhelmingly confusing. I just posted a question on the Universal board about limos and towncars. A lot of people are now recommending Tiffany. However, I heard from a travel agent that they have a history of leaving people stranded and/or showing up late. Also, I always check the Better Business Bureau site before I pick a company (www.bbb.com) and of the three companies I checked (Tiffany, Florida Tours and Happy Limo), Tiffany was the only one with a complaint listed in their history section.

I was kind of sold on Florida Tours because when I emailed them with questions, they responded within 30 minutes -- both times! Anyone ever use them? Happy Limo also seems to have a good rep. Thanks.

disneychick05.....ahhhh. Thanks for the insight. I am sooo glad I don't have these issues anymore. No car seats/booster seats/strollers. What a hassle it must be for you guys. My dd is also big for her age...10 y/o and 5' tall. Will your son be able to use the booster seat? It always makes me nervous to have a kid unrestrained in a car. I guess a seat belt is better than nothing. And we actually did get in an accident in Dec driving from MCO to WDW. An older lady rear-ended our towncar at one of the tollbooths. Our poor driver. But, it was all handled very quickly and nicely. No damage, just a good story. BTW....it was with TT also. We love 'em. They have told us to call the night before and confirm. Even given me a card with the driver's name/number on it. Never did and they have always been right there, even early.

We've been to WDW 12 times and used Tiffany on 8 of those trips. (We drove down the other times.) We've never had one bit of trouble with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We love them!
