So now with all of the legitimate headlining options that are supposedly going to be crammed into tier 1 at EP, what are the chances that something will be dropped down to tier 2 (Test Track?), and would this actually help spread out the crowds? Seriously, there really is absolutely nothing now in the EP tier 2 that is worth wasting a FP on except maybe during the busiest times of the year. Are there now enough attractions at EP to eliminate the tiers for good?

No chance. The headliners at Epcot don't have nearly the capacity or throughput to go around without tiers.

Aren't they dropping MS back to tier 2?. But short answer, no, there aren't enough attractions. They're still reducing the numbers. SOAT is supposed to close soon.

MS is tier 2 for my July trip, but LWTL is still tier 1. So I would guess that is a clear indication that they will not be ending the tiers.

Nothing helpful to contribute, except that I love your thread title…. and a little improv'd song to the tune of "Everybody wants to rule the World"

Welcome to Epcot, Need a Tier 1 ride.
Even while I log-on, times are dwindling.
Acting on some impulse clicking,
thought ridin’ Land would be relaxing.
Everybody wants to book my Ride.

I don’t like having one…Tier to choose amoung.
I struggle to decide…
Shall I fly a Misson Spacecraft?
Wanted Soarin', got a test track.
Everybody wants to book my Ride.

There’s that tier with an extra option, but I miss old Figment’s wonder-land.
I like the Crush when he’s really chatty.
Spaceship Earth, its smells are pungent.
Manatees are friendly sea-beasts.
Everybody wants to book my Ride.

I can’t stand this indecision
Bookin’ with a lack of vision
Everybody wants to #Thanks Shanghai.

Saaaaay that you’ll never, never, never use it.
One fastpass, help me choose it!
Everybody wants to book my Ride!

Not helpful? Are you kidding? You just made my night!

I was just going to make a similar post about this. Its super annoying to be quite honest, but I can see the point of tiering (Kind of).
It kind of drives me insane to be honest, because it turns mornings at Epcot into a bit of a maddash through Future World to hit all the attractions (mainly Soarin and TT, but I am including the meet and greets with Baymax and Inside Out here too) at rope drop, even if the Showcase is set to open at the same time as FW when FEA opens. This is the one park I feel requires the most amount of planning, and like it was previously said, its not like it has a whole bunch of attractions like the others, so its kind of sad.

Remind me again how "awesome" FP+ is, especially now that we all have basically been rationed to one FP a day at Epcot. :headache:

Cmon it's awesome to choose one headliner and wait 60+ minutes for all of the others!:thumbsup2

It's in the way you run to Soarin' in the night
Blast off to Frozen just like Elsa on a motorbike...
The ride you want is always freed up somewhere else
I want to Break it Down...

I keep checking every day to see if I can change my useless Turtle Talk FP into LWTL.

Not that I even like LWTL so much, but it would be nice to ride it once without having to wait 60 minutes.

Sigh...

(Seriously, why can't they move LWTL back to Tier 2? It was put in there because they needed a 'family' attraction with no height restrictions, but I believe FEA and Illuminations both satisfy that requirement!)

There are just too many top shelf attractions in tier 1 and to be rationed only one seems odd.

"Too many" isn't their problem.

If they took one tier one from that list and moved it to tier 2, how long do you think it would last?

If they had "too many" of anything, tiers would not be needed (as in the case of the MK).

It's *not* that they don't have enough attractions. It's that they don't have enough *good* attractions. Clearly there are enough FP for everyone to have 3. But they were unhappy when everyone was grabbing both Soarin' and TT. I guess there were complaints?

When have you had a 60 minute wait for LWTL? Even on a crowd level 6 or 7 day in April we had less than 10 minutes - I think 2 boats maybe?

We'll be there in the summer, when the crowd levels are 9-10. And that's the middle-of-the-day wait time for LWTL at that time.
