Tiered FP+ for DHS

:cool1:

The bottom line is, nobody cares that you don't like FP+ and are cancelling your vacation that you've spent all year thinking about a week before you go. That affects nobody except for you and your disappointed children, who surely would have loved to go and don't care about FP+ one way or the other.

pppphhhhhhttttt

Everyone knows their own children better than you do, don't presume differently. If I told mine we were going to the beach instead of Disney World she would probably jump for joy.

It's funny, my kids have become so accustomed to FPs they don't want to get in a line without one. :)

LOL, sorry, no, Mom and Dad created the behavior.

I don't understand why not wanting to stand in line is a "behavior".
It's an option really.
I tell my kids if the line is more than 20min we will skip it. Because we know their limits. And they accept it.

I don't get why not waiting in line is considered negative.
If you are talking about cutting a line that's different. But I personally so not enjoy standing in long lines during my vacations.
I don't know anybody who does.

Lol back at you! Mom and dad could have never created that behavior had DISNEY not offered it as an option! But thank you for always sharing your positive feedback:)

I'm sorry, but take responsibility for yourself. There are all sorts of experiences out there for children that you do not have to expose your children to. Geez.

Yeah, hi, that's not Disney's fault.

No, and I never said it was. Nothing negative about my kids enjoying short lines. It's because we were so good at using the allowed system to our advantage.

The point is, just because you don't care, or you believe Disney doesn't care, it doesn't diminish any of the validity of complaints, even a tiny bit. Just because one family is a drop in the bucket vs. overall attendance and revenue, doesn't mean we should just shut up.

I do think Disney does care, and if they hear enough people vocally upset with the changes, they will make further changes to the system down the line.

I also think they are going to alienate a sizable amount of previously loyal return customers. Whether or not there are always more to take their place isn't the point. It still matters to the family making the choices, and that's always going to be far more important than Disney's numbers.

What behavior? Our kids will patiently wait in long lines if we needed to. We never needed to because of our management of FPs.

Well up until recently- the answer to that would have been Disney World. I haven't stood in a long line at Disney since I first rode Soarin' in 2005 (I think I waited 60 minutes). I've probably been to Disney 30+ times since then (living locally had its perks), and I've haven't stood in line more than 20 minutes since that last Soarin' marathon wait. So yeah, for me, and for many of us, Disney World was a theme park WITHOUT lines. That's kinda the whole point here.

I agree. My family in the past decade has not waited more than 30 minutes for a ride other than RSR in DL and have gone during every season possible at both WDW and DL. We know how to use EMH and rope drop and never had problems. My friends never believed it until we went together and I showed them.

I am concerned about this changing.
