Those colors are fine for men, I don't know why they were faded :confused3 I'd made those colors combo (the florida gators) and they looked super, they are great for men.

Check out these colors combo:

On these shirts the colors are, red, blue and navy mickey.

On these other shirts the colors are, orange, blue and black or navy would be fine too.
These are the Florida gators colors, I know, I'm a Georgia fan but I made these for a Gator fan, well my DD is gator fan too, so wrong haha, anyway....

This is adorable. I love all the mickey heads. So cute.

Thanks Pixiedust!:wizard: Are you sure it's green, turquoise and black? The last color looks like a shade of blue.

Also, do you wash your shirts in Synthrapol when they are done? Just wondering if it's really necessary with the Dharma if you do everything else "right" (i.e. 100% cotton fabrics, soda ash soak, good dye, leave the dye on for 24 hrs., etc.).

YEah!! pretty sure those are the colors that I used it might be the picture, but if you want to use blues that would look fine too.

YES! I do all those steps I don't know if its necessary but I do use all the products, I also use UREA. What do you mean by "right'? :thumbsup2 If you don't soak them with the soda ash well the colors just won't stick, the soda ash step is the most important, otherwise the dye would just come out. The 24 hrs, well the longer you leave the dye the better. The dye is FIBER reactive, so it would just work with natural fabric, not synthetic. The Syntrapol I know some people don't use it and that's fine too, but I do.

Thanks ;)

I think it is the black, green, turquoise for the polo shirt you just made.

But it really does look like green, turquoise, bright blue for the one whamma is interested in.

Either combination would be awesome for boys. :thumbsup2

It does, well, the ones Whamma was talking about the pics were taking outside and the other ones inside, so I guess maybe the light :confused3 let me see if I had other pics of those shirts. It does looks like navy.

They all outside pics.. I think on this one it looks more black than navy, but its black.

It really does look like two blues on my screen. Being truly black though, would be much more dramatic. I would pick those colors.

Thanks for the replies! I placed my first Dharma order today. For dye colors I ordered Lemon Yellow, Fire Red, Turquoise, Bright Green, Royal Blue and New Black. Figured I could put 2-3 of those together for something decent for my son's class trip. I'm hoping if I try the Turquoise, Bright Green and Royal Blue it would look something like the Pixiedust shirts I was talking about. Otherwise I was considering the Lemon Yellow, Fire Red and Royal Blue together. Any opinions from my fellow tie dye addicts???

Yes, those are perfect, I had never tried Royal blue but it would look similar to a lighter navy. I'm sure it would look like my shirts. :thumbsup2

The other colors you mentioned would look fine too. I'm always making experiments with colors :rolleyes1 :hippie: Go for it!

I don't know if I had mentioned on this thread but I recommend not to buy the soda ash from dharma because its too heavy and their shipping charges are already expensive as is,since they ship from California.

You can buy Soda ash fixer AKA Sodium Carbonate at your local Wal Mart, Home Depot or pool supply store, way cheaper.
