Are you able to let us know when disney resorts will have Christmas decorations up? Specifically when the Christmas tree at fort wilderness will be up? Trying to see if I should keep my stay there or change it to a different hotel because I'm worried it might not be up by the time I go there as a pre stay before MV destiny trip.I am not on any of the ships at the moment, but I am at WDW
Of course they did, but I wouldn’t read too much into that. They enjoyed them at the parks
So your point of posting this is ...?Of course they did, but I wouldn’t read too much into that.
CMs are obligated to act like any gifts from Guests are the best thing they’ve ever received, me included. But as soon as I was off stage, they all went into the trash. For me that included anything edible.
I think they just to see if anyone believes them, or the attention. I'm blocking now.So your point of posting this is ...?
That poster is a retired CM who worked in multiple areas at WDW (including GR, I believe). His avatar is his 10-year pin. So anything he posts, I regard as just as accurate as anything Mags posts.I think they just to see if anyone believes them, or the attention. I'm blocking now.
I’m not exactly sure when all decorations will be finished but I’ll see what I can find out for youR u ab

They sound really cute!I know you aren't on a ship right now @Mags2002 but I do have a question you can answer.
I made simple ornaments from my cricut last year and gave them to CMs at WDW (it said "YOU are the magic" and in the shape of a snowflake with blue glitter paper). They enjoyed them at the parks but would CMs on a cruise be insulted if I handed them out since the cruises are much more tip oriented?
I have leftover ornaments and was thinking about handing them out on the Christmas themed cruise im going on in about 2 weeks. I have already done pre-pay of tips and won't skimp out on tipping at the lounge or anything. Could characters on the cruise accept them?
He definitely has far greater knowledge and experience than I do!!!That poster is a retired CM who worked in multiple areas at WDW (including GR, I believe). His avatar is his 10-year pin. So anything he posts, I regard as just as accurate as anything Mags posts.
Just sharing his lived experience as a CM at WDWSo your point of posting this is ...?
Ah so it really varies by CM and I won't know which ones are truly grateful for them? We'll, I suppose it's worth giving them out, even if only one CM really likes it.They sound really cute!
Some people love receiving gifts like this, others not so much. @FastPasser. is correct in saying that even if they don’t like it, CM will act like they do. Some CM keep every little thing they receive, others do get rid of them. He is also correct that a lot of CM will throw any kind of food that is gifted in the trash, although this is more common in the parks that on the ships.
In terms of crew on the ships, feel free to give them to characters if you would like and other crew who can’t accept tips
Yeah, that's why it's confusing, I asked for cruise CM experience since the parks and cruises are different. Seems like it was more just a negative dump.Just sharing his lived experience as a CM at WDW
