Arts and Crafts **Tie Dye Mickey ears shirts directions**NEW NEW PICS LAST PAGE**

:goodvibes Thanks!

I really like the way my shirts turned out, there's a bit of white but I still like it.

All that's left now is to outline my mickey heads. What exactly do you use to define yours? I tried a tide to go stain remover that I had already but it doesnt affect the colours at all.

Awesome! :thumbsup2

The tide pen is just detergent to remove stains. You need a clorox bleach pen, just be very careful when using it, if you push to hard it will spread all over your shirt. Practice on a towel or rag, then on your shirt, just take your time. Have fun and good luck.

My version of one Christmas tee and socks.. What ya'll think? :santa:

I love it! nice color combination. I hate red and green together sometimes but this looks really nice.

The white around the Mickey head, is that strictly from the rubber bands or are you using the bleach pen on it as well?

I agree! I left a lot of white like that for the same reason, you must have white to get a better look.

Yes, the white around the ears was just from the rubber bands, I love when it looks like that, you can even see the stitches.

Roxy....love your new picture in the ID box. The glasses hid your beautiful eyes. I'm firmly entrenched in my new winter place and wore my Mickey tie-dye shirt yesterday and got raves!! Thanks so much for helping me through this. I can't wait to do it again.

btw...love the way Mickey's off set on the red/green shirt. That'll be my next attempt!!

Wow these tshirts are amazing!!!
I especially love your latest creation PixieDust32,I can't wait to try an make one myself. The socks are adorable as well!

The socks are adorable! Love them. You do such a great job.

Well, I officially have all of my supplies. Probably next week (or even this weekend) I'm going to try and tie-die some stuff with my mom when she comes. Wish me luck!

Finished my first shirts yesterday :) I couldnt find the clorox bleach pen, so I just used white fabric paint. For my first try I like them, but Im just about to do another bunch of shirts and I hope they dont have as much white on them.

Here they are:

Just did mine and DD's. Didn't do the basting thing, just used a paintbrush and made the head, then put elastics around everything:
