The best I can do right now is putting one of the images up as my avatar. If you can see it, what do you think?:confused3

You need to upload it to a photo sharing site such as Photobucket, and then copy and paste the image links here. What I can see looks good.

I used FedEx. I'm not a UPS fan.

If you want to visit me, you can FedEx it to my office and I'll keep it here until you get to Orlando. :)
OOOOH! I would love to come visit you! But I wont have a car! :lmao: I will when we are back in May though! We could have a tie dye party! :rotfl2: I will go with Fedex then. The only time I have ever had a problem with Fedex was when I was overnighting some stuff to Canada- so I think FL will be ok!

I' m trying to load my images.
I saw it! It looks great!! :hippie:

Actually- now that I think about it I still owe Polyensian Princess (I forgot your new user name!!!!) a tie dye party next time I come to Norman! hahaha! I promise I will do that in September after the trip!

Alright Ya'll! :goodvibes Here some new set of pics. popcorn::

My DD was my model for this tank top, pretty cool she said, " brown and pink are her favorite" :lovestruc

I'll take some pictures outside later today to see how they look with the natural light.

I hang them to dry.
The shirt must be dry to use the pen.

Just my experience, but when using bleach or the bleach pen, I prefer to have my shirts damp. It has just worked better for me. You may want to try both ways. After bleaching, I will rinse rinse rinse the bleach or gel out so color isn't removed from somewhere I don't want it removed from, then re-wash.

I also feel it is VERY worth it to invest in the Synthrapol Detergent. Dharma also has created a similar product, which can be less expensive if purchased in the large size. My AC Moore actually carries the small bottle of Synthrapol, so with a coupon you can get it for about $3. Totally worth it. Michaels does not carry the detergent.

I make sure I have a washer filled with hot water and Synthrapol. After I rinse each shirt, I throw it right into the waiting washing machine. The synthrapol prevents the excess dye molecules from re-depositing on the shirts.

For whatever reason (shrinking of 100% cotton and I believe it keeps the colors brighter), I prefer to hang dry my shirts, although I will run them in the dryer with a dryer sheet for a few minutes to soften them up. Dharma also has a fabric softener product that I'd like to try, MilSoft, but I have not used it yet, so cannot make any recommendations.

And, for what it's worth, if you use the soda ash, the soda ash activates the dye molecules. If enough soda ash is used and enough time passes, the dye molecules should expend their ability to bond with the natural fibers, and not run, bleed, or re-deposit. Using the synthrpol is an added insurance.

Boy, you don't check back for a few days, and there are PAGES of new pictures!!! I love it! :goodvibes

I use Synthrapol too, and I :lovestruc it! I was wondering where you had been!

Luv my fam- maybe throw it in the washer by itself- sometimes it looks like the color is places it wont be after a really good washing.

Never had problems with the bleach running on other areas and I do have that detergent. Thanks for the tips.

Threw it in the wash alone- didn't help - still a mess - no more white areas.

Guess I'm gonna throw them away. The only ones that are okay are the ones that are blue & yellow - but any that had the red on (the other 3 shirts) had bleeding occur. ONe one THINK that allowing them sit for days before washing that there wouldn't be a problem. Maybe they sat too long before being washed
I'm just so bummed - I wanted these for our trip in Oct:sad1:

I guess its been about 1 week - been tweaking them - adding bleach as needed around MM & then added some more color if needed & just looked @ them for a couple days....

I'm just sick! All the time & money wasted! :scared1::mad:
