Hi everyone! I just wanted to post some of my latest creations.

I decided to try not sewing the Mickey head on first, and just banding myself a circle to work in. It worked out great for me, I got more consist color, whereas I had some white blotches before in the Mickey heads, and I just free handed the Mickey heads into the circles. I was quite pleased! :thumbsup2

TK- very nice! Great free hand! Sometimes I think it would be easier to just pain with bleach than to mess with resist! UG!

I think we have the same couch to! hahahaha!

Well, I am off to Old Navy to buy more shirts- todays adventure is making a shirt with just ONE COLOR! We will see- it will either be really cool, or really weird- just like all of my other experiments! hahaha!

I have yet to try resist, but I really like how some of those shirts come out! Very, very nice. :thumbsup2

Everyone comments on my couch when I post that picture. :lmao:

Good luck with your idea! I'm very interested to see how one color comes out. Very cool.

I have finally got some pics of my projects! :cool1:

For my first project I tried the tye die swirl w/out the mickey head to get warmed up.

I did blue and green for our seaworld day :)

Next I moved on to mickey heads - I love how they came out!

Hmmm - I don't know why the one pic is such a different size than the others....

Finally I did some single color ones - the hot pink came out the best but I don't think the colors show real well in the photos.
The purple one is mine and it is kindof blotchy like the dye didn't mix well - I might do a redo on that one.

OMG! Your swirls came out sooo good! I know you guys might think this is VERY funny- but I suck at swirls! hahahahaha! I have no idea why! Guess it is something I need to practice more!

I'll have pics to share before the end of the week - hoping to do my dye today!

I'm doing a "regular" tie dye mickey head (where it looks like a big snake when you band it - I'm swirl challenged) with the Dharma colors Navy Blue and Sunrise Red.

I'm also doing an accordian fold (the stripes will be vertical) of Kelly Green and Turquoise, and then I'll iron on a solid mickey head transfer. I did this last year in red and yellow - they were awesome (if I do say so myself!)

Oh, I can't wait to see the accordian fold! This is something I have yet to try, so I'm looking forward to your pictures. :thumbsup2

ok, 2nd attempt, lets see if the computer will behave!!!

argggg...what am I doing wrong (in regards to posting pics, not my mickey heads!!)

ok, just being an idiot!

Awesome!! I love the V looks very cool! I love to do the accordian fold! It is so hassle free!

I know we talked about the elusive bleach pens before, but I can't find them anywhere. Suggestions?

SUPER TARGET!! And get me some Pei Wei while you are over there! hahahaha! We don't have one here in AR!
