As this is my first post here, I am just wondering if it is possible to purchase tickets to the parks when you check in at a dvc resort. I have been looking for the best deal but also for convienence. Any suggestions? Thanks

Yes - you can purchase any type of MYW ticket at a DVC resort when you check in. The only ticket the DVC resort cannot sell you at check in is any type of annual pass (but none of the resorts can sell annuals). You'd have to go to one of the parks to purchase one of those.

Welcome btwalter! Yes I bought my tickets at the front desk this past June. I didn't buy them before I went because I felt it would be easier doing it this way.

Not sure when you are traveling but we found the best deal and ordered our tickets through Undercovertourist.com and they arrived at our mail box at home 1 week before our trip. Couldn't have been a smoother transaction.

You can also order your tickets directly from Disney, through thier website. They give you a small discount if you order in advance. I think they have different delivery options if you do.

We also ordered them online through the Disney Website. They offer a discount and you will have them within a few days.

We decided to make it as simple as possible and just ordered through the Disney website. The order process was easy and we got our 7 tickets within a week. You do get a discount by ordering online in advance over waiting till you get to the park.

You may also go to Mousesavers.com and check for discount tickets.

You can get a good deal on tickets by subscribing to mousesavers which offers occasional deals via ticketmania, they will deliver the tickets to the hotel on your check in day, no delivery charge, no FL sales tax and generally cheaper than buying from Disney
