9. Several of them were in NYC just last year as well as Las Vegas. Hopefully will see Mount Fuji next month but doubtful due to weather and lack of visibility in June.

18 so I guess above average. There is just SO much to see in this great big beautiful world!

I've seen all of the US ones, but none of the international ones. (I have traveled a bit internationally, but none of those places... I'd like to do more but my husband is anti-travel unless it's to someplace he's been before. Sigh.)

Here’s where I’ve been. I really don’t consider myself to be an “above average traveler”.

I agree that the list is New York heavy! 🗽

8, so above I guess. But I sure do not consider myself an above average traveler. Half were NYC plus Grand Canyon, Golden Gate, Las Vegas and Niagara Falls.

I question the list. If you’ve been to NYC you’ve most likely been to 4.

I grew up in NYC and have been to those sites multiple times.

Above average - I have been to 8 of the places. Part of it is having been to NY several times and to London twice. And those would be where all the places are located. NY - Niagara Falls, Empire State Building, Times Square, and Statue of Liberty. England - Stonehenge, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Tower Bridge.

Like someone else mentioned, I do think the list is a bit skewed as I really have not been out of the country other than Canada and Mexico (and of course England). The only other non-US location is Singapore, but I was a super young child and do not remember much about it.

Exactly! This list is very skewed!

I live in NYC, while it has been said that people who live in a specific big city end up usually not visiting the "sites" as they think there will always be time to eventually go there, I have visited most of the NYC sites listed, along with some of the NY state sites and CA, NV sites.

I have also seen many of the England sites and the French Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. The list seems very skewed toward northern hemisphere, and dare I say, Caucasian oriented sites. :duck:
