Check the Connections prices listed on this board for the cheapest prices. If you have a place to get cheaper ones let me know.

DrCool,
Thanks for the tip about the tax on the Disney site. I didn't realize that tax wasn't included. I'll probably get mine from Floridaorlandotickets.com. That's where we got them last year, and they gave us a free phone card and lots of coupons.

Connections only has plus passes but when I was shopping around, it was so little difference I decided to get the plus passes even if I saved them for a future trip.

I also bought the 4 day Hopper with a plus. It cost $197 which is less than a regular PH pass.

What if you did a Water Park & Pleasure Island in 1 day. Would that be using 1 plus?
Another question.... Does Pluses expire or are they good for life like Hopper Days?

Thanks, Beth

Beth-If you did one water park and Pleasure Island on the same day, that would be using 2 plusses. They do not expire, just like park days-good for life.

Exactly. There is no "hopping" between the pluses, just the parks. It's not called a Park Hopper Plus Hopper... ;) jk....

I wanted to know if anyone has ever used the "used" tickets approach, and if that works? Or even if anyone has loaned their tickets to a friend or family member. We have Park Hoppers with days left, and if we get Annual Passes, I was wondering if our traveling buddies can use our unused days...

We've done this with no problem. The passes doesn't have a name associated to them like an Annual Pass. When we go in July my husband and myself have Annual Passes. My 2 adult children are coming down separately. One the first week we are there and the other for the rest of the vacation. Helps out with babysitters for the animals. Anyway, I plan on buying 7 day hoppers with pluses then we will use the plus part for my husband or I to get into a water park. We will use the pass of the child that's not there at the time.

Thanks everyone for answering my questions... Beth

If you turn in a PH pass to buy an AP, you get prorated money back toward that AP. Also, did you know that Grandparents( or for that matter anyone I guess) who are FL residents can buy kids APs for you by using their address. We did this two weeks ago. We traded in my Granddaughter's 4 day PH pass for a kids Fl Resident's Seasonal Annual pass for only a few bucks more. We then used this same pass for my Grandson when we visited last week. We used the one pass for a total of 6 days which wasn't a fantastic savings but a savings nonetheless.

I guess maybe I'm doing something wrong. When I checked last week for 4 Day Park Hopper passes, I came up with these prices for adults:

$199.50 plus tax - AAA
$203.00 plus tax - Orlando tickets
$203.00 plus tax - Ticketmania
$192.00 plus tax - Disney (on-line with advance purchase)

Am I missing something?

Kimruth,

The two tickets for $203 already include tax. Shipping is free thru TicketMania and Floridaorlando tickets charges $7 shipping.
The advance purchase from Disney comes to $204.49 with tax.
