Hi all, This is our first trip to Orlando, We are very confused  over the disney and Universal Tickets, Which is the best way to buy them? When we get there or from the uk web???? Thanks Simon for the great Brits Guide. What a must.

It all depends on how long you are going for, what your priorities are and how long you want to spend in the parks. It also depends on whether you want to pay a few $extra for the convenience of coming and going as you please (Flex ticket plus 10 day World pass) or whether you are on a tight budget and are considering spending more than one or two days by the pool.

I'd be tempted to buy from the USA at the moment with the exchange rate being what it is.

If you post a tentative itinerary everyone will give you lots of advice!

Welcome Denise uk

How long are you staying ? 14 nights? If so then don't buy too many days on your tickets, you'll run out of time.

Decide if Disney or Universal is best for you & your family then buy accordingly.

We went last August & bought the 10 day Disney ticket which was on special offer. It gave us flexibility & enable dus to pop into a park just for a couple of hours. it also included a character breakfast but it did mean we only spent 1 day at Universal.

On our first trip, when our daughters were 3 and 7, we decided to buy a 10-Day pass, and only do the Disney parks. It helped that it gave us free parking which saved us $70. I'm not sure you get this now though. Don't worry about doing every single park. You will want to go back.

Give us a bit more information about your party and we'll do our best to help.
