I am ordering my theme park tickets online from Disney, and this is the 1st time staying outside of the parks.

1) Do they still issue cards? (instead of paper tickets)
2) Is it better to get them in the mail or pick them up yourself?
3) Does anyone know the hours of the Disney welcome center in Ocala? We'll be driving down in the middle of the night.
4) We're planning on going to a water park first. Could I pick up my tickets (for all the parks) there?

Thanks!

Here are my answers to your questions - this is the info as I understand it, though if I am wrong, I am sure someone else will correct me :rotfl:

1. The tickets are issued on cards when they are put on your Keys to the Kingdom card (your resort ID/room key) at an on-site resort. If you order and receive them ahead of times, they are "paper" (I believe they are actually make out of Tyvek)

2. I usually order mine ahead of time from a source other than Disney as they are cheaper. Check out mousesavers.com for some places that sell discounted tickets.

3. The Welcome Center in Ocala is closed - I think it's been closed for a year or so.

4. Not sure - I have never been to a water park.

Does anyone know if the water parks & more option is unlimited visits to all the extras (water parks, disney quest, pleasure island, etc)? Or are there a limited amount of visits for these extras?

So you're tickets are only cards if you stay at a disney resort?
Overall you guys think its better to get them in the mail rather than wait to pick them up at the parks?
