My brother in law is purchasing some park hoppers for my family from base, he is in the military, we are not. Will we be asked for some sort of military ID upon entering Disneyland? Any information you can share will be helpful! Thanks!
I don't think you'll have any problems. My dad's in the military and he got us tix for Sea World and Legoland last summer *he was not with us* I don't think he's ever bought DLR tix for us ~ we always find a better deal + you won't get a MM which is a shame. Most 3+ day hoppers come with a MM but not military tix. Check out www.lastminutetravel.com perhaps they'll beat the price he can get.
I'd definitely do some checking around for deals, from my experience the MWR deals aren't that excellent. You shouldn't have any problem entering the parks though.
When we went in May last year, DH had to show his MIL ID, but I did not. We went while they were having the special military promotion where we could get his free and up to 5 at a discount, so that's a little different than just buying regular tickets on base. They may or may not want one member of your party to show MIL ID.
he only needs his ID but I agree better deals somewhre else. I went to check the prices on Post and the adult price was only like $6 dollars cheaper. But it was for a 3 day park hopper, while disney.com was offering pretty much the same price for a 3 for 5 park hopper.
