tickets/postal strike

i know i'm a worrier but, what will happen if there is a postal strike. booked with virgin for the 26th oct, expecting tickets in a couple of weeks, what will happen if there is a strike. have rung virgin, who were vague.
also, i booked over the phone with virgin, universal tickets, will these come with the flight tickets or do i have to go to the welcome meeting. thanks for your help. mandy

I wouldn't worry too much as I believe that the postal workers are only planning a series of 1 day strikes to start with. If push comes to shove, you could ask Virgin to courier the tickets to you which would probably cost you around £10-12. We are due to leave on 11th Oct so I would assume that our tickets are due any time now. I'll keep you informed of any problems.
