Has anyone ever purchased park tickets on ebay? Am i dumb to even try?

I would not buy tickets off Ebay. You have no way of knowing if they are any good. Why take the risk when there are discounts available from legit sources? If you have not already you might want to take a look at the mousesavers website.

Don't do it. Even if there are days left, tickets aren't transferable. I read a post here not too long ago about a woman who sold her leftover days on eBay to a woman who called her up one day ticked off because the tickets were no good. Turns out, Disney apparently monitors eBay and they had seen this auction and got the numbers off of the ticket scan picture and voided the tickets. Be safe...don't do it. Try another reputable source for discount tickets.

Let me tell you our story. Back in 2005 we bought two adult tickets off Ebay. This was before I read all the warnings Dis'ers have given folks seeking advice about buying them on Ebay. The seller had a near 100% positive rating. Well, when they arrived I noticed they were tickets issued for military members. We are not military members. Nowhere in the seller's ad did it note that they were tickets sold to members of the military. I was upset but I wrote the seller back very politely asking why he didn't note that they were that type of ticket in his ad. He let go with many nasty expletives telling me how stupid I was and of course they were good tickets and ANYONE could use them whether they were military or not. Well, I sweated it out like crazy (a couple months) until we got to the gates the first morning and lo and behold, they were accepted. I could finally breathe a huge sigh of relief that I didn't have to waste more money and buy new tickets at the gate. I would never never never ever buy tickets from Ebay again no matter what. I don't care if the seller had 100% positives and 500 transactions. It wasn't worth all that worry in the end to just save a few dollars.:scared: :scared: :scared: Do yourself a favor and buy them from Undercover Tourist and use the link from Mousesavers to save yourself worry and money. They have the best deals out there and are totally reputable. You won't go wrong there like you could do on Ebay. Have a great vacation! :yay: :yay:
