I just purchase 4 tickets (one transaction) for my family. I'm not sure if we are going in 2017 or 2018. My youngest will be 2 1/2 be the end of 2017 and will be 3 in 2018. Are each tickets independent for the 14 days rule?

Because if we go in 2017 I will not need any ticket for my youngest and I want to make sure I don't loose her ticket and that I will be able to use it for an other trip eventually

At the very least you will be able to use the "Value" of the unused ticket beyond Dec 31, 2018 toward the purchase of another ticket. From everything I've read the Canadian offer tickets do not have the same expiry date that other tickets issued after February 11th do. I have not personally called them or received an email to confirm this.

Your investment is safe.

Each ticket is separate from each other.
You can use 3 this year and save the youngest's for next year.
If it is a ticket you purchased prior to yesterday it will not have an expiration date on it.
If you purchased it after the new prices went into effect there will be an expiration date and if you do not use it prior to that you will exchange it for a new ticket paying the price difference if the price has gone up.
