Just a reminder, if you order WDW theme park tickets on line, on the phone, or through a 3rd party provider such as Expedia, etc, please allow at least 24-48 hours for them to get into the Walt Disney World computer system before trying to pick them up. Unfortunately, guests are not being told this by those selling the tickets and are showing up at the Will Call windows to pick up tickets that are not yet there. Unfortunately, this causes undue stress on the guest, and long lines as the tickets must then be reseached. This is not a great way to begin a Disney Vacation, so please take heed, and order at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date!

Not only is this not being told to ticket buyers, they are saying somthing different. I purchased tickets on line on the 27th and they said tickets would be available for pickup on the 28th. We won't being getting them until May 1st so it was no big deal, but are you saying that if I'd gone to pick them up the next day I wouldn't have been able to get them? What if I had the print out?

The tickets do need to appear on the screen on the WDW computer for the tickets to be picked up, even if you have the reservation order. Research can be done, if they were ordered through WDW, but it takes time.

Also note that the tickets will only be distributed to the guest whose name appears on the tickets Will Call sheet and on the computer order. You must have a photo ID with you, and be there in person to pick them up. So, if someone else orders the tickets, say, as a gift, they need to have the person's name who will be picking up those tickets on the ticket reservation, because they cannot be picked up by anyone other than the person whose name is on that ticket reservation, and only with a corresponding photo ID. This is for the safety and security of the guest ordering the tickets.

I hope that this helps save some time, confusion and frustration!
